Petition to rename exotic engrams to "Repeat Engrams"
'Cuz that's all I ever -blam!-ing get.
[spoiler]I literally haven't recieved a new exotic in the last 9 engrams that dropped. -blam!- "R"NG. There's no "randomness" involved at all, it's just rigged to screw you over.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyThe term "exotic" needs tossed regardless. Before D1, Bungie said an exotic would be the rarest of the rares and how hard they'd be to get. To me they were given out like candy, D2 took that to a step further x10 however. Exotics have lost their meaning (but as I said, I felt even D1 abandoned that but D2 outright made it much worse). As for the repeats, yea they duck. I'd much rather take longer to find exotics if they don't repeat over getting 50 (exaggeration) repeats in a short span.

I haven't seen a single one drop! Oh wait, because i still haven't even opened the game up. It's sitting on my desk, still wrapped, with the receipt cause the more i read, the shittier this game looks. Curiosity will get the best of me and i'll pop it in the ps4 sooner or later. Then I can bitch about engrams too!!!! Just like old times hahaha

Anything to maybe up the drop rate a bit because being that the nightfall doesn't drop exotics like in D1 (yes I'm aware you get powerful gear engrams that CAN have exotics) I just feel like I can grind for hours at a time and not get a single one. Not sure if I just have bad luck or something aha

My problem is and has become a joke with my friends is I wander if you’ll get anything different this time as all I get is armour and the main armour I get is leg armour. Even Hawthorne has got a new name from my mates for me she is now known as the boot provider. And if it’s not boots it’s always something else I have got and not what I want I haven’t had the hard light yet or the exotic primary auto rifle it sucks. When you preview an exotic it never turns into what it it shows it might turn into either. I’ve been blessed by the RNG gods yet again

I got The Crest of alpha Lupi about 10 times so far. I get other stuff too but there's no way I just happen to get the crest that many times. I think Deej is behind the scenes messing with stuff he shouldn't be.
