1) only the account that actually owns the license to the game is eligible for preorder bonuses. Any account that the license is shared with is not eligible for them.
2) if the account that owns the license isn’t getting any preorder stuff, they’ll need to talk to the retailer it was purchased from. Retailers were responsible for distributing those codes, not Bungie.

It isn't fair that the account that pre-ordered Destiny 2 gets the pre-ordered bonus items. The is people that scrap and save up to go in half on the game. Then either them or their friend pre-orders the game from the consoles store for them both. Then they both should have the pre-order bonus loot. I just think what you guys did isn't right and fair to all those people who split the price of the game down the middle. You guys should really fix that.

Only the original account preordered, regardless of if the two of you split the cost, only one copy of the game was preorders. It’s a pretty simple concept.

"Yeah, I want all the optional extras of the top of the line model but I'm only going to pay the base model price because it's not fair that someone paying more gets more" 😀 😀 😀

Lol. Xbox implemented Xbox sharing for multiple Xboxs in one house due to having kids and such. Even if you use it with a friend it still works as intended. I purchased it with game sharing as such and did not receive my cold heart either. Destiny 1 worked with both parties receiving everything and hopefully destiny 2 does at least for th expansions because if it doesn't, I'm done with the game when the expansions roll around.

Might be an Xbox issue there. I only say that because I'm on ps4 and my wife pre-ordered on her account. She, my son and myself all received the bonus items once we met the requirements for them.
