Speakers Mask Exotic?
After watching the cut scene in which the speakers mask gets crushed I came up with the idea that there should be an exotic quest that requires you to find the shards of the speakers mask and at the end rewarding you with it as an exotic helmet.

While I think his mask was not a pretty thing + class specific crap, this as an idea for a mission that then grants a exotic helm for each class would be a really nice touch and a great way to actually close the speaker bit other than he just fell down and well we don't know???? We never knew if the speaker ghost was ok or not, in respect if his ghost was ok he could have been revived after the light was restored potentially? Did he actually die? So much left unanswered.

Edited by Fransqaw: 9/25/2017 9:17:43 PMI think since it shattered it could be like the ahamkara bones put across multiple classes like the hunter gets a gauntlet with the shards on it, the warlock a helmet with like half of the mask covering half of the helmet and the titan a chest piece the exotic perk for the titan could be a replacement for the saint-14 called blinding light maybe and the warlocks blinding truth and be for the dawnblade and any ideas for the hunters?

It could be the first any class exotic! It's perk could be minor improvements to All ability recharge rates and reload speeds for all weapons.

They should have exotic quests for Vanguard exotic helmets. Maybe the Speaker’s faceplate could be the start of the quest.

I like this idea, it could tie in with finding some of the other missing characters we ahve not heard from yet. Like some relief effort after the war. It would be cool to be able to explore the ruins of the old tower looking for the survivers. Maybe even find old gear.

Maybe instead of the shards, recalling his memories, which also triggers another exotic questline after completion.
