What ever happened to the Siva strike that was teased at the Destiny 2 reveal? If Exodus Crash is what the Siva strike should've been I am mildly disappointed
1.) because that boss was a total letdown...
2.) it would have been an interesting concept to discover another separate cashe of Siva on Nessus that the fallen were excavating from Exodus Black.
3.) Would've called for more urgency since veteran guardians know what Siva can do.
4.) would've been cool if the boss fight was "a giant crude abomination of a Siva fused Fallen" with some cool mechanics involved.
I could picture it already , the concept would probably made a real good strike.

2 RepliesCut from vanilla (obviously), likely going to be featured in an upcoming expansion. I'm willing to bet they threw Exodus Crash together with extreme haste to serve as a replacement, and that's why it's such a garbage strike.
-
2 RepliesI'm calling it for expansion 2. It's Rasputin themed because once the traveler awoke, it triggered the warmind and the planets it's on - thus activating the Siva aboard the Exodus Black. Just a theory.

2 RepliesNot sure it anyone has pointed this out but there's a few damaged servitors scattered across Titan that are scannable. First one I scanned triggered some dialogue from the ghost about the Hive presence being powerful enough to make the Fallen abandon a servitor. The second one I scanned caused the ghost to mention that the Fallen need servitors for ether, and that the amount of abandoned servitors there suggests that they found an alternative. He then said something along the lines of "Good golly gee I sure hope the Fallen haven't brought Siva to Titan." If that isn't foreshadowing I don't know what is.

1 Replywhat i want to know is why it showed the SIVA strike in a strike directory, as if you could *cough* choose what strike you do *cough*
-
5 RepliesYeah we’re is SIVA in D2? It’s been leaked forever that it would be returning but I guess Bungie threw that crap out.
-
SIVA-corrupted fallen have made their next inside a crashed ship. We cannot allow SIVA to get a foothold here.
The mission description of a Nightfall they displayed when showing Guided Games. Presumably "next" is meant to be "nest" but yes, this was real. Nobody is misremembering.

16 RepliesWe kill Aksis and Siva are gone. We kill oryx and we still have Taken. I am confusion 🤷🏾♂️
-
56 RepliesJust real quick, people who joined destiny at rise of iron are not veterans, I'd consider anyone who played before taken king a veteran

Cut content in the Rasputin dlc.
-
4 RepliesDon't worry you'll get that strike, 5 new story missions, and recycled armor from D1 in 2 months for $30! What a bargain!
-
2 RepliesI'll tell you what happened for $9.99

Anyone else think they should've put a Sepiks reference in the Nessus servitor public event dialogue? Ghost says something like "How does this servitor keep coming back?", to which failsafe says "This is a different servitor. They stay dead when you kill them." Would've been funny if ghost said something like "Not in our line of work."

1 ReplyThe second expansion is SIVA and Rasputin
-
You didn't learn from pre-Destiny 1 release. Bungie will sell you whatever gets your money then deliver you less than what you bought.
-
If you stand by Failsafe in explore/patrol she will mention the SIVA project but nothing else follows.
-
They're selling that to us in DLC.
-
6 RepliesThe Fallen killing Failsafe isn't enough urgency for you?
-
Time gated garbage
-
5 RepliesQuestion is who still controls it and who controlled Aksis?
-
It wasnt NESSUSary yet. Maybe DLC 1 or 2.
-
5 RepliesThey didn't show siva in trailers just the exodus crash site and streamers speculated that sive was making a return but vex killed exodus crew not siva.

Edited by SkinPoppeR: 9/24/2017 8:18:46 PMSiva is coming back. It is just too cool of a concept of an enemy to not return in Destiny. Siva will return.

7 RepliesI should have paid more attention - but when I did the Prestige version earlier, right at the beginning somebody on the Comms mentioned SIVA. Since the dialogue is "randomized" everytime between a few sets of dialogue, it seems to be the rarest of the lot. I've been searching youtube videos of the strike for it and can't find it - but I know what I heard and saw, I'll report back if I find it. I'm pretty sure this strike is geared around stopping the Fallen from getting SIVA, though they may not be explicitly revealed in detail. So no Sivafied Fallen purely because we did the strike.

Come back in 7-8 months.

1 ReplyProbably coming in DLC form soon.
at a price!
