I'm starting this over and not going into details because this community is becoming toxic over one exotic weapon. Bungie, please remove High Caliber Rounds! That's why it was taken out back in D1!

8 RepliesEdited by Truthiness_Inc: 9/28/2017 3:57:53 AMYeah you need to just get good. Find a weapon you're comfortable with and practice. Find what it's good at and what you're good at and PRACTICE.
I go down within 2 hits from the multi tool.
You're such a salty liar. 5 shots to the head. 5.

4 RepliesJust remove all exotics and powers from crucible give everyone the same melee and grenade ability isnt that what pvp people want?
-
So, they need to remove a weapon because you cannot do anything against and cannot use it yourself and be good? Any statues that offend you and need to be removed too while we are at? It is a -blam!-ing gun. STFU.
-
No it doesn’t . I don’t use mida there’s a much better scout / scouts.
-
You could also... Git gud? Just a thought. You have summoned me.
-
3 Replies40 games and every person had mida and mini lol We played 5 games and only saw about 4 lol Nothing should ever be nerfed! Stop crying as d1 was ruined by cry babies like you! And no I don't use mida
-
You need to be removed or nerfed. Don't end your post like a little girl by saying 'No arguing' when you know people are going to disagree with you
-
Can't you like....go get your own
-
learn how to use it bruh.

Bungie gives Trials a scout map two weeks in a row and you blame the Mida? Scouts aren’t the problem. The good will be good with w/e they choose to use. The bad will still be bad too.
-
Or we can ban all exotics from competitive completely
-
3 RepliesBuddy..... you think MIDA is Op . . . . ever heard of Matador 64?
-
Allll exotics and powers should just be removed from Crucible and they should have to use set load outs, that way EVERYTHING is fair and everybody sucks equally
-
Well check this out The weapon has a small nerf to it coming in2 D2 ( remember the hair trigger perk) that alone make the weapon epic! Being able to fire almost like and auto rifle if used correctly. I went in trials and got destroyed by multi tool . So I fight fire with fire . I went flawless with the multi tool and an auto rifle But I'm not here to talk bad , but here's a quick tip... Multi tool shines at longer ranges ( so the map trials has been on allows that gun to shine) u have to be skilled to use it at close range. If u are fast enough, a pulse rifle or auto rifle can mow down any1 with that weapon. (Key phase: close the gap)

Will do zero good. It will only result in those who used to use mida using what is supposed to be the next best thing. Then you will complain about that weapon. Rince lather repeat. I don't have a problem with the mida, I know lots of people that have no issue with it either. If they can use other weapons. If they can win against the mida. Then maybe instead of asking that the game cater to you, and how you are playing, maybe ask someone to review you, and give you some pointers to help you thrive. The answer isn't always make that gun crap. Just because something is good, and is effective doesn't make it over powered.

Oh good, I was wondering where I was going to get salt for my fries...

5 RepliesTake away HCR and replace it with a perk that helps you in PVE and not PVP and it's fixed.

Edited by spartanx169x: 9/26/2017 3:03:54 PMThere are multiple weapons and counter playstyles to the MIDA. I beat the MIDA often at mid range and close range. Further more, if it was not the MIDA there would be something else. Given how Destiny PvP is designed there will always be at least a couple of weapons that are better than everything else.
-
Maybe Trials is just too tough for you. It's supposed to be for "elite" players. If you can't compete, that's more than likely a "you" problem. If you can't handle stacked teams with the best gear, how is that the gear's fault? How much does Bungie have to weaken this game for some of you?

More tears....

Mida does not need to be nerfed its because of the fact that every other weapon is trash that makes mida seem so good. And removing random rolled weapons contributed to that.
I want to be clear that this is "my own opinion" from what I experienced so far. Don't hate on me if you have a different opinion cause I want to hear what everyone else has to say about it and I'm open to discuss. I don't want to hear "Get good" because I try to get better everytime I go into Trials. The mida multi tool does not belong in Destiny 2. I don't understand why Bungie decided to bring it back and have high caliber rounds back as it's perk. It is Ruining Trials for me! I'm not joking when say this: I have gone through 40 matches and every single enemy player had it and the mini tool. My team and I used either the nameless midnight or an auto rifle for kinetic and a scout rifle for elemtal and we get taking out so damn fast! I go down within 2 hits from the multi tool. This is not funny! :( I am so disappointed! Destiny 2 is supposed to bring "NEW" weapons and armor. Not return old favorites from D1. Sure, I enjoyed the multi tool back in D1 but never used as much because other weapons were better and because Bungie took out the high caliber round perk. Solution: Bungie needs to either remove the scout rifle (which is the best solution) or take out the high caliber round because I can't try Trials ever again because of this OP weapon! I was hoping Trials would be better and I would try it more and hopefully get better at it until I discovered this and how the community has ruined it! Now, Trials is not worth doing anymore which is sad for me:( Let me hear your thoughts and opinions. No arguing. No hating. I want to discuss.
I would be happier if they buffed all of the other weapons to compete with the mida or completely removed the mida from the game. Obviously, I don't see them removing it since they put a quest line in the game to obtain it right along with a bad ass submachine gun. Giving an uptick to a lot of the other weapons (especially the hand cannons and pulse rifles) would still allow the mida to be powerful, but wouldn't be the most dominant meta weapon in the game.

Umm buddy there is high caliber rounds on plenty of guns besides the Mida so quite complaining.
-
... If you think this gun is broken you obviously have not found a weapon you are comfortable with. The only reason this The Mida Multi Tool is widely used is because it is readily accessible and consistent and compete in many situations. In maps with longer sight lines this gun will outperform others not because it is overpowered but because it is a scout rifle. The reason this is a top tier scout is because of its well rounded stats and high caliber rounds. High caliber rounds are a perk found in many guns and there are many other scouts with comparable stats to the Mida so this gun is nothing groundbreaking. The speed bonus is solid and very useful but if you claim it to be overpowered simply speck your armor for mobility and you will get a similar affect. The potential value Mida holds is justified by the fact it is an exotic and takes up that slot, so it should have an edge over other legendary scouts. At close range, this gun is a piece of trash when you consider the fact that you can use a gun much better suited for close range without holding an exotic slot. At close range Mida will get outgunned by sidearms, submachine guns, auto rifles and usually hand cannons and pulses. At medium range, Mida is powerful but auto rifles, hand cannons and pulses all compete. At long range is where this gun obviously shines but that is to be expected and other scouts with similar stats can compete. Yes, There is no doubt the Mida Multi Tool has some ridiculously high use rates, but that is just because it is still a top tier gun, and anybody can get by simply completing the quest and it’s yours guaranteed. Players will always gravitate to the strongest guns they can get for the least amount of effort. If you still think it’s overpowered get one yourself.
