Heroic strikes.
Strike specific loot.
Record books.
Sparrow horns.
New gun models (lol)
Being able to choose what game mode YOU want to play in crucible.
So many things just stripped away. TTK is still the biggest improvement to the Destiny formula. And Destiny 2 was directed by the same guys.
I wish you guys dedicated the whole of Bungie to the sequel. It's clear this was a literal "team" of developers rather than the studio as a whole. Jason Jones even states outright in an interview with Deej - "The Destiny 2 team has done..." I mean seriously, guys. This was the moment to break the formula. Bring something new and exciting. What happened?

Bungie's gonna sell them back to you in DLCs HAVE FUN😃😃👍🏻

I'm very disappointed in destiny 2. It's a beautiful game but I feel all the magic and mystery has been removed. As well as bounties, quests, white whale weapons, raid gear (that helps in raid), hidden quests, dead ghosts, grimmore score, subclass customization, daily missions and tasks....etc. How could they do this to us? The end of destiny 1 they had all these great ideas, adventures and wonderful quest lines. It took bungie 3 years to fix destiny 1 and it seems they forgot all they learned and didn't listen to anyone that actually played destiny and instead listened to the players who played for 5 minutes complained and quit. What the hell were they thinking. EVERYONE I KNOW FEELS THIS WAY AND MOST ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW GAME TO PLAY. IS THIS EVEN DESTINY ANYMORE???

I've been saying this the entire time.. this is why you don't split your programming and development teams in two to have one work on the problems of the original version while one works on the sequel.
-
What happened was that a certain "Game Director" decided to reinvent the wheel. The thing was, Bungie had finally almost perfected the wheel at Destiny year 3. So why -blam!- something up that was already getting better.
-
All future DLC...most likely.
-
Couldnt agree more. So many things missing that we waited years for in D1. Baffling decisions being made currently.
-
Played PvP last night - out of 10 games, 9 were supremacy. I don't mind supremacy, but if they are not going to let me choose the game type, they could at least give us some variety from game to game...
-
They're coming, but you have to pay for them. You should know by now, all these scumbag companies sell you games in parts.
-
If they had left everything as it was at the end of d1 and simply added the new story cinimatics and pve content this would have been a big win. Instead they -blam!-ed up everything, and i mean everything. I dont think this is fixable.
TTK is still the biggest improvement to the Destiny formula.
The one thing I don't agree with.
-
Strike specific loot! Yes! Why don't they have that?! Strikes are barely worth doing
-
Still available is a superior game called Destiny
-
Ghaul blew them up.

Edited by Develosaur: 9/24/2017 4:20:47 PMI agree wholeheartedly with this. While I have been enjoying most of Destiny 2 as a huge fan of the first game, I can't help but notice so many features have taken 1 step forwards and 2 steps back, like the changes made to crucible to help with balance, but not being able to choose game types. Why take that away from us?
-
And why do we all of the sudden have more shields in comparison to health? When and why did that happen in the timeline?
-
You forgot the rewards for your first public event each day.
-
Bungie decided PvP was more important, yet at the same time they were too lazy to do it properly and/or foolish enough to make questionable decisions within the crucible itself.
-
Arms day too!
-
Dont forget sparrow flips. I'm sure Bungo will make it an srl only bike mod for a quick cash grab of course.
-
Don't worry, you will get it all back... for a cool 39.95
-
I just want my werewolf howl emote back u.u It was my very most favoritist emote. I loved howling at the start of matchs and at the end. I want my beloved howl emote back u.u
-
so we can buy the reused contents and features again. Destiny 2 is just a joke. Its actually D1 Vanilla Reboot.
-
I'm sure it's coming but bundled in with paid DLC
-
Most of those will be coming back as time (DLC’s) are released. I won’t be surprised at all to see the Gjallarhorn return in year 3 of Destiny 2. It’s a marketing thing. Just watch what Exotic items from Destiny 1 get dropped with the next DLC, if any of them show up, then you can expect to see the Gjallarhorn again..... maybe even with an option to choose Arc, Void or Solar.
