This sounds like destiny 1 complaints around the same time after launch. Legitimate complaints for sure, but certainly familiar. I do believe destiny will have an update and some other events before DLC1 that will revitalize your loot thirst. And if you all remember this was exactly how destiny 1 was even with random gun rolls (or bought rolls, who remembers that Banner shotty with the range finder and tight spread??) We all would flip out for about three weeks and then start to feel that sweet high slip away and suddenly this game became monotonous and work. It happens with the design of the game imo once we get to around 75 percent full power we've exhausted what's new and surprising. Destiny by this point turns into a number hunt and its focus shifts away from what's new to what's stronger, and it becomes more exclusive the higher you get until, just like the beginning of year 1 forever 29, you have to raid to get that last 20 or so points of light. I don't see this model changing.
