Is Devrim Kay gay?
Let it be known now, and forever forward that I have no issue with this if it is true. I'm simply posting a question along with an observation I made while playing the game. This is in no way a topic about judgement or morality.
With that said, lets be mature here and see what you guys think.
Yesterday while I was farming for exotic engrams and EDZ coins (I really want that Hunter gas mask helmet), I spent a little time with my headphones on, standing in the menu with Devrim and working on some shaders and breaking down blues.
While in this menu Devrim still spouts the occasional line just to keep things happening I guess.
Now I cant remember word for word what he said, but until I do or find a video or recording of the interaction I'll give you guys what I can remember.
Devrim: "You know what I miss most? Mark. He had perfected the art of making the best cup of tea. He always had one waiting for me when i got home."
[End of that voice segment]
Next voice he decided to use...
Devrim: "[Listing many different types of food, all sounding delicious but definitely above average cooking skill] *sigh* I miss you Mark... *catches himself, stumbling to recompose himself* Oh, sorry guardian! Where were we?"
So my question is this, is this a subtle hint that Devrim Kay is Gay? Is Mark is Husband who unfortunately did not make it to this point in the war?
Or was Mark his best friend and compatriot in these hard times?
Just a question. But if anyone has some input on this possibility or heard this line as well and has anything to add, please go ahead.

Even it has happened in 2017, but some of the public still curious about what is exactly happening and to be the reason there is a rumor comes out about his gay. At that time he became the massive social networking rumor. The public, especially his fans are shocked. He just came out with his bad rumor which is spread massively. This time is not about his sniper career, but his bad rumor. The rumor is out of standardize of hoax, according the last reported this soldier revealed himself as homosexual. Do you still believe or not, this rumor is really much talked by people even in a person of his fans.

No clue, but he talks about tea, or has talked about tea (I think), but I never see him drinking tea. Never trust a person, real or NPC that talks about drinking tea but doesn't actually drink it.

18 RepliesIs the sexuality of Devrim really important? You sound, despite stating you are not evil, a bit insecure. Isn't it by categorizing and labeling that we distance ourselves from things we have a hard time understanding? You don't go around asking people if they're heterosexual. But as soon as someone is gay we need to pull them aside to figure it out, just chill and go with the flow. We don't have to know peoples sexual preference to enjoy they're personality. Not saying Devrim is a person so I guess heterosexual or gay pixels and polygons should be treated the same?:-) oh and sprites ofcourse!
