Hey Bungie,
With all the negative posts that are popping up don't listen to them. They cry and cry because that's just the kind of people they are. Things are too hard for them or you should do this or that. I'm going to quit if you don't make your game exactly how I expect it.
Bottom line is that D2 is one of the greatest games I've played. Sure there are always things that could be improved upon but you guys really made a great game and a great universe. I'm very happy with it and I know most people I play with are too. Don't listen to the screamers on the internet, the minority always whines more then the majority.
Sincerely,
A satisfied customer

Edited by icountstuff: 9/27/2017 3:23:55 PMI agree completely....I never played D1 and the backstory was something I wasn't at all familiar with....and so far I love it. So maybe if people walk in open minded and open to a new experience... they might enjoy themselves. Stop worrying about what is missing from D1 and just enjoy D2..... or if it is still broken for you....STFU and move on. There are games and movies I hate that others love.... I dont feel the need to beat them over the head and make them agree with me. I have every console out there.....so I can play ANYTHING I want... and right now that is destiny 2

The amount of people in the comments who don't know the concept of 'opinions' is staggering. Are we really so childish now?
-
If d2 is one of the greatest games you played, you must not have played more than 3 games
the other two being destiny 1 and Wii Sports
I think of video games as art. If a world famous painter created a new piece and put it on display, people would either love it, hate it or just have an appreciation for it. They wouldn't demand the artist change things about it (even if they bought a copy). Anyway... either love it or hate it. Appreciate it for what it is. If it's not for you then move on.

What is your age, job, and highest level of education? I'm curious

And so comes the sarcastic comments triggered by separate opinions

It's a great game indeed, it's doing what it intends to do, provide entertainment, it has successfully done it, don't mind the haters, they will still play destiny and will provide the toxic part that we all pretty much know by now

One of the many things each bungie employee must do an a weekly basis is write a post like this on the forums. Luke thinks it makes everyone look better.

Destiny 2 is what I expected it to be and I wasn't disappointed. Sure, there are some funky bugs in there, maybe even more than the first game, but it's still a good game. Unfortunately Destiny 2 wouldn't even make my top 10, but it is definitely higher in the list than Destiny 1.

I love it but there are lots of fixes need to be made. Mainly crucible n strikes really.

I am quite pleased overall with Destiny 2 as well... graphics are amazing, and the character development and story is an order of magnitude better. Still trying to slog our way through the raid, but even so far it seems a worthy successoir to the raids of D1. And I even like the degree of customization provided by the new shader system, but not enough to actually buy any silver. Sorry, Bungie, I'm pleased with the game but I'm not dumb. I'm not happy with everything of course. PvP is about what I expected it to be (and I wasn't expecting it to be good, given that they wrecked D1's PvP to get us ready for it). And all too many of the excellent cutscenes have been either ruined or at least negatively affected by our Guardian's lack of a voice. Bungie might rationalize that "our Guardian is us" or some such thing, but the simple fact is, if it had been me in most of those cutscenes, I would have said something. But still, I am satisfied that Bungie has made considerable effort to make D2 a worthy successor to D1, and that they will continue to do so. So I think I'll stay on the Destiny train for at least another year.
Bottom line is that D2 is one of the greatest games I've played.
Damn, you have to have been playing some shitty games if this is the greatest. It's average at best.

Edited by Riv3rMon5ters: 9/23/2017 6:07:25 PMJust got the game a few days ago. Art and sound/music teams knocked it out of the park again. I've really only played part of the story so far and while it's nice to have a cohesive story, it still seems dull and over simplified. Dare I say it's honestly boring to play through. Farm is a cool social place though, could have some great hide and seek games lol. I havent touched any other part of the game but I dont have high hopes for the pvp, which I loved and still love in D1. Idk, I'll write up a full review later after I've played more.

It's so easy to satisfy children nowadays. As much as I didn't like destiny 1,its obviously better than destiny 2 and destiny 1 was crap.

Edited by TheFieryInferno: 9/23/2017 5:25:19 PMIf bungie doesn't hear our complaints then nothing will change. Nothing new will be added. None of the problems will be fixed. If we convince bungie that they did a good job on this game then they will continue make games exactly like this one.

Lol at people congratulating mediocrity.
-
Definitely a refreshing sequel! They made a lot of great improvements, especially with the experience of playing (music, environments).
-
D2 is below average. Strikes worthless, raid is ok but glitchy, public events good but are repetitive, patrols same as d1, story is bad, pvp is bad, few good exotics most are underwhelming, lots of reskins
-
I hope your console breaks.

So, while I share in the general satisfaction of the game, I'm not sure why you would call out all the people with valid complaints about the game as false or make ad-hom arguments about them. The Destiny universe is fantastic, but D2 lost a lot of features and both gear and weapon diversity from D1. Because of that many people have valid complaints about the loot system, rewards across all activities, and the staleness of activities in general. I mean, we get 5 strikes, a few crucible maps, no ability to select crucible game modes or private matches, and public events. We have trials and the raid as well, but those are both weekly events, so our main grind in strikes, PVE, and crucible, are very limited. These aren't just empty complaints, they're facts. We lost a lot compared to D1, and that feeling has a lot of people disappointed.
