Data Is Corrupted On Ps4, Cannot Access Destiny 2
i re installed my PS4 causing me to lose my data after hard drive issues. once i did reinitialized my playstation all of my games were working fine, except for destiny 2. it tells me i cant enter the game due to corrupted save file, even though my destiny 2 save data is not visible in my save data folder due to my data being wiped clean. i have deleted and re installed destiny 2 multiple times for the instructions and have not found any solutions, even when i reached out to Sony for help. please help me fix the problem as soon as possible. thank you

Old post but i had this issue on both PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim, its bungie itself and/or Sony, i cant even download Destiny 2.

1 ReplyHey man I had the same issue for 3 days. Took me til today to realize the problem is with the ext hd. Ive completely disconnected it. Giving up 4 tb is not easy but I may have to. Thankfully its only install data. Save data is on my system thank god. And destiny 2 data is stored in the bungie cloud not on your system. Gotta contact bungie about that bud. Try disconnecting the external hard drive. Mines a 4 terabyte xbox 1 seagate. Im on ps4 tho. Had the hd for almost 2 yrs, same time ive had a ps4. Msg me on psn DougJ123 or add me. Ill add you back when I wake up.

6 RepliesI'd recommend continuing to work with Sony. You may have a corrupted hard drive. Just in case, be sure you've done a full uninstall and reinstall of destiny (instead of partial) by reading the following article: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/45179
