I have upgraded tons of gear/weapons through dismantling for infusion, however it seems that sometimes, certain items may have the wrong power level listed or there is a glitch with the infusion restrictions. I have tried to infuse these problem pieces (lvl 275 hand cannon into lvl 270 hand cannon & lvl 274 chest into lvl 270 chest) in every arena of Destiny 2 except the raid and trials, but with these particular pieces, and some others in the past, it says the base power is too low. I can and have infused other items with the lower level items, but I am never allowed to infuse these particular pieces. These two aren't the only items that I've had this problem with, but they're the only two problem pieces I have in my current inventory.
