A very quick leveling endgame. With very little to grind for. Congratulations to everyone who cried over it being to grindy. You will now all start complaining how it ended so quickly and there's nothing to grind for, it's already started.
I looked forward to putting in hundreds of hours into this game, but unfortunately I can see it won't offer what I loved the most about d1. Hunting that loot know matter what. This game just hands it all to you, and that's bad for a mmo/hybrid. Who's sole purpose is replay value, "the chase" well I'm sorry guys but they have removed everything you use to chase. Strange coins, motes of light, materials, xp upgradable weapons, armor as well.
Everything is just handed to you in this game and there's nothing to work on to upgrade or farm, and it's just sad.

Nine days and two hours later, I’ve leveled my 3 up to 302, 302 and 303. I did this by grinding and pursuing, because my RNG was/is horrible. I know 3 guardians who got one character to 299 in less than two days of gaming. I don’t know how they did on their alts. I reckon that your ideas of getting stuff handed to folks is fine, so long as they’re your ideas. Not mine; not at all.

1 ReplyIf you really want to get the most out of your purchase. Then limit yourself to only 15 minutes of gameplay per day. You should be able to keep playing for another 2 years. Maybe.
-
1 ReplyProbably moving on to Shadow of War once it's released. Or at the very least, play both. There just isn't enough to capture my interest the way D1 did.

5 RepliesWith all the dissapointment in the air, i think the DLCs should be free. I dont see why any person with a brain would buy and keep supporting this company.

1 Reply350 is max power tell me who here has 350 power?

While I'm 303 and enjoying the hell out of this game still, I spent longer getting 276-280 than 280-303. Enough said.

I would feel the same if I wasn't getting the same damn gauntlets over and over.

They did very good in a lot of departments but other departments oh gosh -_- They are giving us D2 like a present they you unwrap slowly and I don't like that
-
2 RepliesI feel a bit like you do. Stuff like the strange coins, upgrading guns and gear by using them, should've stayed for D2. Would've given a much higher feeling of accomplishment for my guns and gear being where it's at then just having all the talents unlocked for every piece as soon as I get them. Exotics are far too plentiful as well. They don't feel exotic anymore, just another legendary that's colored yellow.

Actually its mostly the opposite. People complaining yhey arent getting loot. So opinions vary. But there are more loadout options available so the grind is still worth it. Lot of good stuff out there.

There wasn't much to grind for to begin with.

6 RepliesI feel the same. I hate already having all the legendary weapons that I have, this quickly. I do kind of miss upgrading weapons, just to try them out. Strange coins should have stayed, what do I do with like 250 shards? I can't grind for God rolls. They are what they are. I know why but still, least it would give me something to look forward to when purple drops. I'm hoping dlc will bring more, not more of the same

Edited by Kankunation: 9/20/2017 1:20:15 PMI'm happy with it. There's a few areas where it can be improved but for the first time the grind in this game is done mostly right. If they keep this same style and just expand the content, it will be much better than D1 was. There's a lot of potential in the mod system for expansion, and if they can fix the low drops in certain activities/bring back a few more good challenges, it will be far better than the first game in that aspect.
