People don't want to spend 5 hours on the raid so they have requirements to beat it in one. If it's a problem just make your own fireteam??

1 ReplyIt's a grind. Work together with non-hardcore players for awhile and become hardcore. That's what I did.

I am aware of others being worse (Overwatch, League of legends, WoW) but I have seen reddit and G+ and Youtube and none are this toxic. Even the admins here are toxic! 3 RepliesLmao "worst" gaming comunity. Destiny isn't even close to that. Look at the overwatch competitve comunity. They are so toxic that blizzard is holding back on game updates to try to remedy it. Look at eso where more people argue in zone chat instead of actualy fighting the other aliances. I spent 10 hours over 2 days just to finish the raid with a bunch of trash players and excuse if i dont want to do that again. At max i will only spend 1 1/2 hours on the raid. I dip out if it takes more than that.

World of warcraft is still here because of the elitist community bringing in noobs and growing them up to make more elitist. Basically what I'm saying is get good and better yourself. I'm no elitist but if you can't follow simple directions or mechanics then you have no right to complain. Now on to ilvl or powerlvl or lightlvl whatever you wanna call it. Yeah it's rough but all you need to do us put in the effort and you can get there fairly quickly. Don't know how to get there or are stuck? Find a guide, ask a friend, or get some help from a randy. All it takes is paying attention to get good.

7 RepliesThe answer is simple. We dont want to waste our time. The raid is annoyingly tedious at best, mechanics are clunky and there are bugs. I want my Raid to last 90 minutes or less, not 5 hours. I want a team that is over leveled who survive and deal more damage. But beyond that I want what I want, my own experience. So stop trying to sh** on my experience and go make your own for fu*** sake.

You know what's annoying, restarting from a checkpoint over and over again because people other people keep messing up. It really can ruin a raid.

I will play with anyone for endgame and if they are new to the encounter I try to teach them how to do it and hey they might figure it out but you know why the hell does EVERYONE avoid beasts like the plague? I’m just one person with responsibilities like school I can’t teach the entire group how to do it. That’s all I wanted to say.

Ill play with anyone but for a nightfall you have to be 260+ an 280 for a nightfall. Thats what everyone who is 300+ did before they started playing endgame. Just cause you started late doesnt mean i wanna carry unleveled players so they can get free loot, clan engrams already give them loot if thats not enough for you then make your own raid team of 260 an strm so we can watch you struggle

Most people just want to play with others who are like them. If someone has an hour or so to raid then they want to finish the whole thing which means finding people who have completed the raid already gives them the best chance. It is the second week so many people are trying to finish it for the first time and have already spent many hours with different groups with no success. Also, higher power level often means you can beat each encounter in less phases which makes it easier. So thats why people have those requirements.

As long as you know how to do and you think you have it down I don't care the light level. Tired of raid teams taking 2+ hours when it should really only take 20-30 minutes.

5 RepliesInstead of typing this post it would have been quicker to lfg with your own requirements. I'm 305 with 6 completions and I prefer to play with people on my level. Do your own thing. Clearly the more elite want to do theirs.

With that attitude no wonder you can't find a group...you don't want advice or opinions so your entire post is just to whine about not getting invited. 280 is the low end of power level to actually do the raid as well, considering how laughably easy it is to level up in this game you time would be better spent leveling your character instead of complaining on the forums.

I'm an 18 year old who has respect for who joins me, I have college and a job to maintain. I'm sorry if I don't have the time to "trial and error" a raid until I have to leave. I'm looking to get it completed as fast as possible and not explain every detail to an inexperienced player. If it's such a problem please wait until HM drops so that you can raise your light.....

I just looked at the raid lfg page and most of the posts are actually pretty reasonable. Some of them are asking for a lot, but they should be able to play with whatever types of players they want. IT'S THEIR FIRETEAM! Don't act so entitled and just join the many posts that just say "need 1, know what to do".
