Destiny 2 error code CE-34878-0

I played destiny on Xbox One for several years and, but now I have a PS4 Pro. I can say that I am a huge destiny supporter,but due to some recent issues with the game and this "exclusive console", I am not able to play the game I waited so long for.... Can I please get something fixed? I am having error codes for every time I start up Destiny 2. Can someone please accommadate for these problems we are having with the game?? I am already dealing with enough through hurricane harvey.. and Im lucky i still have my consoles to play. Can I get a digital code to play it on xbox in the meantime? It would really mean alot to be able to play my games after i get off work.

Go to network settings and set mtu to 1450. Solved this issue for me with ps4 pro and ps4

I'm experiencing this on PS4 Pro digital and no Destiny theme applied. I'll try uninstalling as someone suggested. Also disabling HDCP doesn't seem to help either. I think I only get this when trying to goto the Traveler/Tower.

1 ReplyStill crashing the same number of times. But between the hard, CE-34878-0 crashes, I am stuck in orbit, flying. Can't look at my character either at this time. So I have to go to the main PS4 screen and close down D2 and re-open. Also a few cases of total black screen, that hasn't happen since the last update.

1 ReplyI have been reading other forums while I'm at work-- please let me know if it works! If you have the destiny 2 theme for your PlayStation, try turning it off or even uninstalling it. Hope this works!

3 RepliesSame problem here. I have 3 different machines (2 PS4s and a PS Pro). I get crashes on ALL devices. If anything I'd say it's worse on my regular PS4 than the Pro. Been on 2 hours and had 2 blue screen crashes when going to the Tower/Traveller

2 RepliesEdited by Soul_Eater_42: 9/29/2017 11:17:37 PMCurrently, Bungie is working with Sony on a solution. In the meantime, the only thing you can do is go into the system settings, and disable HDCP to reduce the frequency of the crashes. It might also help to rebuild the database in Safe Mode.

Yep. Ive had the same issue since launch. I'm on regular PS4. Not Pro. And I get the same constant freezing and CE- error code. I bought the $99 GameStop Exclusive physical copy, and I even work for GameStop, I've tried everything, even going to my work, exchanging for a new disk, didn't even help. I've played Destiny since year 1 beta. And I can't even play the game I've been looking forward to the most this year, Destiny 2, without crashes every 2 minutes or so. I really wish they'd fix this. My friends and team mates are all able to grind. PvP, PvE, even the raid, while I'm stuck here twidling my thumbs :/ please help...

I also still have the problems. The ps and bungie update has not helped. Game freezes and crashes.
