Destiny 2 hotfix: the one about exotic engram
Fixed an issue where exotic engrams would decrypt into gear that a player already owns and nothing else.
One can dream.

What will you do with exotic engrams if you have all exotic items collected? Would you like to dismantle them for nothing because you get nothing because there isn't "new" loot?

Ive already unlocked all exotic arms for my warlock and i eould gladly love for arms to drop. They are the only thing holding me back from 305

3 RepliesAs a hunter main who cares nothing about his warlock or the Titan he'll make this weekend, I'm 2 exotics away from having everything. (Minus warlock/Titan armors.) skyburner's oath will be my last weapon before every weapon is a duplicate. I see no problem here. Sure, I got a lot of dupes along the way (as many as 11 the first weekend after release) but here I am in the third week with literally every exotic but two. And I'd bet my account the sky burner and whatever armor it was that didn't impress me will drop some time this week.

16 RepliesWhile i understand the frustration, it's minor. I say that because we get exotic engrams so easy now (talking 1 or 2 a day), that getting duplicates (normally at higher levels) is ok. If it was like d1 days before 3 of coins, when we got an exotic engram every week or so, and it being duplicates, then it would be a problem.

I really want those karnstein armlets. But of the last 6 exotic engrams I've gotten, 5 were sunshots. This makes 8 sunshots I've gotten all together. On top of the 4 golden wing exotic chestplate. And the 3 tempest crowns.

I am so sick of getting wings of sacred dawn. Everytime I get an exotic I have to pray to any and every god that it's not a wings of sacred dawn. Such an ugly and useless exotic.

I don't know why, but I have yet to get a repeat exotic, and also don't get supremacy that much. Hope I don't jinx it

Whenever i hover over the Sweet Business exotic weapon it says i already added it to the collection, but i don't have it!

2 RepliesLately my issue has just been getting a friggin exotic engram. I grinded for over 3 hours last night doing public events with a medallion popped trying to get one for the Sturm quest on my Titan. Not one damn exotic drop in that time. Relying on RNG for this quest is absolute idiocy.
