Savathun's powers
So we're all expecting Savathun to be making an appearance by the end of Destiny 2's lifetime. What I'm wondering is what kind of abilities she and her Hive will have? Her last appearance in the Books of Sorrow was during the war with the Harmony, where she seemed particularly interested in the Ahamkara. She and her brood of Hive sneaked onto the Harmony home worlds and performed experiments on living Ahamkara. Then when the war ends she very suddenly takes her Hive and flies into the Harmony's black hole
I think that she learned something from the Ahamkara, and wanted to distance herself from Oryx so she alone could gain power from this knowledge.

5 RepliesI think bungie left her deliberately vague to allow more story options down the road. My guess is we'll be seeing bosses with more mystic abilities such as the giant shrieker. We'll likely see the more magical side of the hive as opposed to the relatively boring incarnation we see now.
