I can understand what you mean by cringe, but the universe of Destiny is peppered with cheesy lines and corny scenarios. Even in Destiny 1 there were situations that would fit perfectly into any 80's Saturday morning cartoon.

I mean, honestly. You just have to forget all the internet cynicism and enjoy the game like a kid.
