D1 is a much better platform. This whole thing is weak. It wasn't very well thought out. It's really hard to get excited about playing. And to think I bought the digital edition. What a waste. Hardly anyone is playing crucible. More on D1 than D2.
Bungie, you missed the mark.

This was a complete cash grab. Their is barely any improvements, definitely not enough to warrant a reset. I was expecting an ESO level of expansion and customization. At least then I could justify the need to start over... NOPE

Imagine all this new content, but placed into the D1 world, with all of the D1 mechanisms and random loot structures etc.... Would have been amazing!

Edited by THUNDERCHILD: 9/17/2017 11:05:18 PMI miss the mediocre variety of D1pvp The weapon and customation system was better. Damage models were better. For gods sake, in d2 a grenade does about as much damage as a melee, and melee hits are as dangerous as open handed slaps!

My proof that more people are playing D1 PVP is that I can jump on D1 and find a match in less than a minute, the three times I tried to play D2 PVP, I gave up after sitting waiting in orbit for 15 minutes while matchmaking looked for other players.

I will say I enjoyed D1. It had potential when it started but fell off and hit it's head and now we have Destiny 2 which looks much the same if not worse.

It's just more of the direction that D1 was already headed. There are some redeeming qualities but not the direction I have hoped the game would go in. At least there are more cheesy cinematics. My biggest gripe at the moment is the infusion system preventing me from using the weapons that I want and be max light. And the over focus on team based stuff. I just want to play a game and escape the burden of social interaction. Unless I choose to group up, don't make me for every meaningful thing the game offers.

Your right there.. no desire to play at all.. probably because pvp is what usually keeps a game alive and the pvp in D2 is a complete disaster.

And yet you bought it.
