Friends in fireteam need to show in map and track them. Would be nice.

3 RepliesLmao. Just use your hud & voice chat you lazy ****

5 RepliesFireteam, clan members, friends. Heck everyone should show up on the map, so you can see if there are people at a public event before getting there and doing it alone.
-
Agreed

Another aspect of this is that when you travel anywhere, the system should prioritize putting you in an instance that has friends and clan members. It doesn't seem to do this at all currently. If I see a friend playing and it says something like "Exploring Earth" and I travel to Earth, I could run round the whole map and never run into my friend because they are in a different instance. When travelling somewhere, the system should check if there are clan mates or friends on that map and then put you in the same instance. Up to a certain point anyways. Since instances seem to have 26 slots, large clans or people withe large active friends lists would be able to take over whole instances. we wouldn't want to see whole planets with only people of a certain clan or that already knew each other. I'd say something like if there are 5-6 people that are related somehow running around the same planet, group them unto the same instance.

2 RepliesIt would be nice to have a dedicated server....so when you finally do an heroic with more then one other, other people who go to another area of the map for the same public event as you will be on the same insance, this is bullcrap in all honesty

Yes. Displaying their arrows on the map only makes sense.

Still wish they had a companion map app that I could just leave my tablet plugged in and keep a continuous heads up of my placement on the map and where my friends are.... Would have been nice if the hunter ability would make enemy combatants in crucible visible on the map, or highlight majors and hvts.... But a side step that reloads your weapon or recharges your melee is way better than knowing where your enemies are right?

This! I'm not sure why I've never thought of this. I agree. It's a little awkward when you fast travel somewhere and realize your friend got left somewhere but you can't find them...
-
Bump infinity times over!
-
A dot on the map for everyone. Must be done. Fast travel is great, thank you Bungie, but it's the worst thing in the game also. At least have it say on screen where somebody went when they fast travel.
-
Bump.

Agreed
-
Yes i agree that being able to see members of your fire team on the maps would be a nice and very helpful feature.
-
I'm in total agreement, if a fire team member fast travels to the other side of the planet, I ant to know without relying on verbal communication.
-
All our clan has said this!
-
Agreed, many times I have looked from habit of other games doing this. Just would make it easier to find the rest of your fire team.
