so my question is two parts...the first i am pretty sure i know the answer to but want to make sure. If i have a weapon mod say on my arms that says "class abilities recharge faster when using an arc subclass" and then have a helmet that says the exact same, does that affect stack?
secondly...assuming the answer to question one is no, what about similar affects? if i have the "class abilities..." example from above in the chest and then my helm has "grenades recharge faster..." does that mean the grenades will benefit from both?
finaly...in the "class abilitiy..." mod what exactly does it affect? grenade, melee, the circle ability, and the super all?

The fact that this even has to be asked is a clear sign how poorly this game was designed. As players, we should freaking know this, Bungie. There should be gauges, like in D1, that tell us basic information like this so we don't have to freaking guess.

Yes it appears they stack. Having 1 "grenades charge faster" active made it charge in 54 seconds..with two it recharged in 49 seconds. Looks like each mod reduces charge by 5 seconds.

2 RepliesYes mods stack. Class ability mod only affects your b/o button ability. Rift/baracade/dodge

can anyone else please help me clarify this? im getting to the point where i need to start assigning mods to armor and wanna know what the heck to use!

3 RepliesI'm not sure about them stacking. As for what your class ability is exactly, that's just the Titan's Barricade, Warlock's Rift, and Hunter's Dodge.

I think I got a Kinetic Counterbalance mod on my Chest and Cloak, and either the Rat King just got really, really, good, or they stack.
