All you've done is confirmed you don't know what authoritative means. You don't understand the difference between objective terminology like he used and subjective. You read tone into my words probably because you're butthurt, as well.
Throwing in the word "personally" doesn't justify objective statements of quality about the game. Yeah, his opinion is definitely less imperative regarding Destiny if he doesn't even prefer the type of shooter that it is. That means there's elements he has a bias against in the genre.
Don't need or want two other characters, thanks. Wasn't implying anything about him, just pointing out a fact that diminishes the value of the achievements. And yeah, the achievements/trophies are amateur as hell. They're basically participation awards. If you want stats to verify skill check KD's and Grimoires.

Edited by KnightMare18100: 9/15/2017 10:57:48 AMHis Grimoire is nearly 5000 lol Just looking at his stats he was mixed in PVP - with really lows, and some really good games too, but maybe he's not a PVP player, I don't know. All I know is he clearly put his work into the game. By the way maybe you need to check the definition yourself: au·thor·i·ta·tive·ly əˈTHôrəˌtādivlē/Submit adverb 1. in a way that is trusted as being accurate or true; with authority. 2. in a commanding and self-confident manner that induces respect and obedience. You're implying he's asserting authority over the matter. Exactly what I said you were doing. He also never once said he disliked the genre... he just said it isn't his main one, where's the bias in that? Other than backing up into environmental objects (which is annoying) I fail to see him saying anything else bad about the genre that would demerit his opinion. He would rather see his character, how does that in any way disqualify his opinion about a timer that he finds EASY?

I do not care about the guy's stats or prowess as a gamer. Why are you fixed on that? Going and hunting some down is oddly excessive. I was trying to make it clear that the achievements/trophies are easy and the harder ones cheesable because you purported them as distinguished. Then I told you what I thought would serve better as a measurement because you asked. I don't recall dogging the guy for his gaming abilities, but rather a bias he made evident. The issue wasn't even about that. I hate that he used declarative statements about the game when he was trying to display his opinion. It's a dirty tactic that gives more weight to your words (Hitler did it a lot, for example). Whether intentional or not it's a bad habit. Plus, it absolutely does appear as authoritative.

Don't even bother my dude, you're arguing with a clown who's arguing just to argue - I already muted him long ago and can't even see what he's saying. Just let him keep talking to himself.

This is rich coming from someone who tried to spark up a discussion then backed down when you got called out on everything. Your head in the sand will only hurt you poor thing.
