I can't tell my titan is female until she lets out death crys, she looks basically like a smaller male then a female. The armors seem to take all of the female characteristics out of the character, the way they stand doesn't help either. Yes we should be tanky looking but when I choose female I would like female not small male.
Edit: As pointed out by Montregloe I see that the females have a slightly smaller frame, but the armors are so large, some of them looking even looking fat, that you can't tell most of the time. I understand that Titans should have larger armor but I would like to be able to tell I am female
Edit: Wow this seems to be a very polarizing topic, please stay civilized

1 ReplyI get that Titans are tanks -- charge in headlong to beat the enemy into submission. This is no reason fro them to look like skinnier, male Titans. Their character model could be... softened -- contoured -- to grant the air of femininity. Just because she's kicking butt like a guy, doesn't mean that she has to look like a guy. To be honest, the Hunter class model is guilty of this as well, though to a slightly lesser degree.

I noticed this about all of the classes. They're androgynous af. Hate it, not gonna lie.

1 ReplyIm sorry but the Titan is a Tank, A tank needs armor to protect its self. The reason for the animations being the way they are is to represent discipline, strength, and order. A female titan and a male titan should have little difference to show collective and uniformity among the titan ranks. If you don't like tanky militaristic armor dont use armor from the EDZ, use armor from Titan or Nesseus. I play hunter and i dont like the skin suit crap from destiny 1 so i wear the gear from edz to give a militant feel and real armor to fight. But what do I know I Main hunter and im surrounded by titans mainly in the Raid :P

Maybe it's to please all those nutty, non-binary types? Seems to be all the rage nowadays.

4 RepliesI want hunters to have a massive bulge in their pants then. Seeing as it looks like all male characters have no junk. Also, colored guardians should receive free exotics daily, and if you don't have destiny, someone that does own it should buy it for you. No. It's a game. This complaint is dumb. I'm sorry. Not of quality. #satire would've been more appropriate.

4 RepliesYou run around punching and charging people into paste while throwing giant shields and hammers.... yet even more to point are literally named a Titan... and we are complaining about being too big.... The kneel seems like they just didn't have time to make a different animation I wouldn't mind more styles in the future. As for everything else titans are jacked to do what they do so regardless of gender your gonna be huge. War is a genderless action and being a war game i can understand not focusing on it.

11 RepliesEdited by wickedwahine808: 9/15/2017 11:52:06 PMTotally agree. Glad you mentioned it, it's cosmetic, but the game revolves a lot around that. Played Titan in the beta, disliked the look and armor to the extend I'm trying Warlock who unfortunately seems to enjoy rope and potato sack outfits in pastel colors lol. Miss my dainty D1 armor, a lot. Also not a fan of the shaders' colors or the way I have to kneel like a knight waiting to be anointed or kneel down with hands awkwardly on my sides... Contrary to some overly zealous feminists' opinion I've seen on D1 forums, I enjoyed sitting like a girl ;) Girls don't have to look manly to kick arse... - Does this armor make me look fat? - Yes dear, it does. It makes you look enormously fat. Think I might play as a buff Marcus Fenix for next character, might as well.

1 ReplyOur characters look so very female no mater what we choose. My male exo Warlock might as well be a female with the way gear looks on Him.
-
5 RepliesThey definitely have a female frame, the armor is large though, and the stances they take are less feminine and more disciplined for the Titan class.
-
1 ReplyI think the size of the arms has to do with Muscular Titans (male and Female) are supposed to be, they play like a tank, shouldn't they look like one 2? But yes in agree, the female titan looks way less... female than in d1
-
The emotes look stupid on a female also
-
I switched from my female exo Titan from D1 to a male one now. Something just was off and they changed the color palettes for my exo face (from bronze to orange. WTF) But I chose a female in D1 because it looked manly too! Not as fat, but more agile, so I told myself its a sporty exo boy. :)
-
I agree with this although I don't see them updating character models at this point. Perhaps in D3 that might be something they will look at in the future if enough people make it known to them.
-
1 ReplyI feel like my awaken hunter is hella curvy and my exo female looks like a damn cinder block. Not to mention in D1 I gave her the like no face option so she sorta looks like a dusty sock with a helmet.

Huh?? Look again

5 RepliesI am sorry, this is the worst complaint ever XD get a life seriously
