Destiny 2 "My Captain" quest didn't give Drang glitch
I just completed the "My Captain" quest and I received the Relics of the Golden Age quest item but I didn't receive a Drang. Instead, I got another Sunshot as a reward from "My Captain" and now I can't complete the Relics of the Golden Age quest because it requires it. I checked my vault and it doesn't show up in there either...
Has anyone else had this glitch? Or does anyone know another way of receiving the Drang?
I guess the only way I can think of is creating a new guardian and going through the story up to that point again...

The bug is evidently still present. I also received no Drang after completing the mission, and Tyra doesn't have it either at the Farm. I suppose it's not the end of the world and I'll just delete the quest and move on, but they never fixed it, did they?

About a year and a half late on this but anyone looking this up later here's what happened, the quest ends there, and you're suppose to start a second quest from a quest flag marked "exodus black" on the map directly north west of Failsafe.

When I climbed the rocks there was no Harpy, no awards, nothing. Anyone have a solution? I tried buying it from Tyra on the farm as someone suggested but she didn’t have anything.

Same here, no Drang :(

Had this happen as well, I'm now stuck without Sturm and Drang because I never got Drang from that mission.

2 RepliesI tried seeing if kills with the Sunshot I received would count towards the required kills with a Drang for the quest but unfortunately, that didn't work.

PS4 and the same thing happened to me. Never got Drang.
