Would you care to enlighten me on why you don't like the fact that we got a new crucible map?

Pve activity, pvp reward. It's cool and all we got a new map, maps are cool. But it shouldn't be a reward for a raid.

I think bungle wanted to give something special to all the players in order to commemorate the first raid completion. The only reasonable thing they could have done was give us a crucible map. They couldn't have done anything else.
-
Well if that was the case then they should have made the leviathan a playable space similar to the dreadnought... sigh

"congratulations to the pve community, have a pvp map"

What else would they have given everyone
What else would they have given everyone
Uh, another raid map, a token for higher loot chance, an emote of some kind, a dance floor in the tower, etc etc. I get his point. I think they under sold the pvp experience this time around. But maybe theyll start to put more focus into it. Bungie is pretty hush hush about thier content.

Edited by A 7th Spectrum: 9/14/2017 4:30:16 AMI don't think they would release a whole new raid map 2 weeks after launch just because we beat the first one, and a token and emote is not as commemorative as a PvP map.

Edited by KeNzEn: 9/14/2017 2:19:00 PMWhy not? Why not another raid? Why not make the leviathan a playable space similar to the dreadnought? Again, some missed opportunities that a lot of people are seeing.

Edited by A 7th Spectrum: 9/14/2017 6:56:20 PM1st, it can take weeks or even months to make a balanced and playable raid. And assuming they somehow had another raid ready right now, they aren't going to give it out right after they launched their game because players would just eat right through it. It makes more sense to let everyone have their fun with the first one, and when everyone gets bored of it months down the road, they will release the new one. And 2nd, if they were able to make a new pve space available on the raid map, they would have. There are hundreds of variables that go into developing a playable game. Every single decision they made, they made for a reason that you and me probably wouldn't even think of.

Sure, trickle down content...I get it. Don't give to much, keep them paying by creating content droughts and just when the game gets dry drop a new xpac. Look I'm not saying that's a bad strategy, just saying that if the community can see missed opportunities in week two then Bungie certainly did as well. Most games that boast raids usually have more then one at the start and then add new one with each xpac. However Bungie set a different pace in D1, totally get it. However, with all the flak about lack of content for 3 years they had an opportunity to set a different standard, sometimes you just have to go for it. Which is all I'm getting at.

Literally anything pve related. But I'm done arguing with all y'all and your gang mentality of hating on someone for having a different opinion.
