When you think that road symbols are a hate symbol, and everyone that disagrees with you is an alt-righter

Lets just agree that racists are despicable people that are so vile that even being remotely associated with them is to be avoided because no decent person wants to be mistaken for being such a terrible thing. They are the lowest form of life; they are sad pathetic creatures that the world would be better off without. That we can agree on, right? Because if not, there is something terribly wrong with your mental state.

Sure, we can agree on that. But kek isn’t racist, and road symbols certainly are not either. People need to stop seeing racism where it doesn’t exist
-
Nobody needs to do that, a little self awareness, introspection and empathy is always a good thing. Sometimes when we don't see racism it is only because we are looking at through our own biased perspective, we all have one. The point is that racism is so abhorrent that it cannot be allowed to exist in any form, and if you have any doubt you err on the side of decency. The potential benefit of having a cute logo on the sleeve of a piece of hunter armor is nonexistent compared to the consequences of allowing racists a platform for some cheesy dog-whistle inside-joke. The fact that there is any vague resemblance to the Kekistan "flag" could not possibly be a coincidence. That said I think the Wolfenstien franchise has the right idea about how that sort of imagery should be dealt with.

You spoke a lot but said a little. Ike I said before, kek isn’t racist, and neither are road signs. If you think otherwise, you are delusional.

Edited by HughJasperson: 10/31/2017 11:04:46 PMYou sure this is really worth it? Is this what you really want to stand for? The thing about racism is you don't get to be the one to decide if you are racist or not, you act how you choose and you get judged accordingly. Nobody believes someone when they say they are not racist, all racist say that when it suits them, the important thing is if you can show you are not racist, and I'm not convinced. As far as Kek not being a racist symbol, it is now and to claim otherwise is a poorly executed fraud. The swastika wasn't racist until relatively recently if you consider how long that ancient symbol has been around.

Since when has the word offended you? It literally means lol. It was made by a bunch of nerds playing world of Warcraft. Also, I am part Jewish, and I have never been offended by the spastically, and certainly not the word kek. How does someone saying something that basically means ‘lol’ equate to being even remotely racist?

As soon as the N@zis ruin it for everyone else, that's when.

If a -godwinslaw!- doing something that everyday people do ‘ruins it’ for you, I guess you had better stop breathing, because so did Hitler.
