Went to redeem my rockstar engrams on the bungie site. Everytime I hit Redeem I get and error saying
"You require a linked ###Platforms.None### account in order to perform this action."
I have double checked to make sure my Xbox account is linked and I am still not able to get it to work. Anyone know what I am missing?

2 RepliesI am having the same issue this week. No linked account and I do not use IE at all. Also, last week I got an error and not engrams but I got credit on the Rockstar Site. So this is two weeks in a row of nothing. This only worked week 1 for me. WTH!!

Redeem Destiny2/rockstar codes here https://destiny2.rockstarenergy.com I have entered the codes and it works I think. Then at Bungie.net if you hit your avatar at the top right hand of the screen (that is the position on I pad) you can select redeem code, then redemption history and you will see is you got it in game or not. Hope this helps GL

34 RepliesHello, Thank you for your report. At this time, we are aware that this error will appear primarily when players attempt to redeem codes using INTERNET EXPLORER, which is no longer supported by Bungie.net. Please attempt to redeem your code on an alternate web browser. If you continue to experience this issue, please reply to this post with the following:
• Which web browser are you currently attempting to redeem your code on? • What credentials are you attempting to use when logging in to Bungie.net and redeem codes? • Are you attempting to redeem codes for the matching credential, or have you signed in with an alternate credential? (Ex, Signed in with PlayStation Credentials, attempting to redeem code for Xbox)
Thank you.

OK, so, I think I've figured it out. I activated a couple of codes on the 13th, and tried activating them two days later. Problem is the Rockstar authentication was invalid after a single day. I just saw this today so I added another code, which refreshed the authentication for Rockstar, and I claimed all my engrams. The system was built assuming singular, daily purchases/redemptions or all-in-one redemption of codes, rather than f. ex. me forgetting to redeem them immediately x) Even if it says active beneath "ROCKSTAR ENERGY + DESTINY 2" (Settings-> Account and Linking under 'Authorised Applications') if the date is wrong then the authorisation is invalid, I think.

Edited by xMR_S3V3Nx: 9/14/2017 4:36:31 PMI may have found a work around. I only had my PSN acct linked and couldn't redeem anything. I linked my XBOX acct and the next time I tried to redeem my rockstar engrams, I had to choose either PSN or XBOX. I chose PSN (the console I'm playing Destiny 2 on) and it seemed to redeem the items. I didn't get the common linked account error like I did before. *EDIT* I guess I should have read a little farther down. Somebody already posted the same thing. *EDIT 2* Also I never played the 1st Destiny on any platform.

with me the same, the account is linked, but does not work

Edited by Hippie_Scum216: 9/14/2017 5:06:43 PMSame problem here, very frustrating! its even more frustrating that bungie hasn't even acknowledged the issue to at least say they are working on it.

I'm having the same Problem (PSN)

One worked for me yesterday, but now I get this message like everyone else.
-
3 Repliesyou arent missing anything, I have the exact same issue and I jsut did codes this morning so bungie is apparently just broken. again. sigh. its a love hate relationship. lately more hate!!!

With so many people having the same error, WHY ISN'T THIS FIXED YET?!

1 ReplySame issue here. Hope it gets resolved soon. Kinda wondered what will be in my engram. Also- didn't know pop tarts were doing something as well, thanks to the person who posted that.

1 ReplyI'm missing the ability to redeem the 2nd group of Engrams altogether. I got the first ones in without any problems but as of the 2nd group of engrams they don't seem to be pulling up on my linked Bungie account with the Rockstar account.
-
1 ReplyAlright, I could be wrong on this, but I was looking at the rockstar website a bit more closely and found this: "* Redeeming in-game items requires Destiny 2 game and PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold Subscription (sold separately). In-game gear subject to 4 released weekly items and limited to 32 total items." so this may be why we can't redeem these damn codes, and would explain why some people were able to redeem them, and now cant.

1 ReplyGlad to see its more then me and my crew. We have been trying to figure it out.

same here
-
I'm woundering why bungie or rockstar hasn't answer us yet or even let us know they are trying to fix this problem
-
After hunting for these stupid cans I finally find them to get the same thing. account not linked. No response from rockstar or bungie.
-
