Some people at Kotaku or something got angry and made an article attacking bungie because the word "kek" was spelled out on a piece of Hunter arm armor, so bungie removed the entire armor piece and made a big deal out of it
I am. Because rather than just remove the design on one piece of armor, they removed the entire armor set. I think that's absolutely absurd to do. It would've been better to just remove the design that way you don't upset thousands of people that were using any piece of the set at the time.
I'm sure that would have been "better", but let's be real, neither of us knows how Bungie'a armor database is designed or how easy or not it may be to replace individual textures.
I would wait a week and see if a fixed version comes back, but a week of negative press is too much for anyone to expect bungie to swallow.
