Why not just make the armor with an optional shader that could remove the symbol by choice of the player? That way the player could choose whether he wants to wear the symbol, while everyone else chooses whether or not to get offended by a pair of gauntlets in a -blam!-in video game. Personally, I'm offended that we don't get to see the Awoken Queens bewbs. Change that while you're at it.
