The modifier for the nightfall was suppose to be changed.. But due to a bug bungie found that made this week's NF unbeatable they decided to keep the mods fron last week up.
Be patient an they will hopefully sort it out before next reset

But the modifier is only the element change, not the timer. This is how the nightfall is now. If it wasn't how would they do the Rat King quest?
