Yeah the game is feeling very shallow at this point already. The Strikes are terrible, idw to playy PvP even though I FORCED to right now to level up, and the game actually looks WORSE than the original game. EVERYTHING looks like it's paper and it lacks the CRISP look of D1. Overall it feels like a reboot but yet not enough to warrant that level of interest.idk
The story mode was the only "good" thing in the game, but also the most needless and ultimately uncompellibg story with a f'n STUPID ENDING. By good I mean it looked great and the art design was good. The plot was ass. Nice ending.....

Hate to say it but unless the raid is just phenomenal I'm out after max level and a flawless run. No expansions this time. I've seen enough. I'll play out my $60 purchase, but it looks like literally the beginning of the same road we've been doing all this time. We've been down this road before, not even gonna do it again.

This is what I don't understand. I think that the player base is going to have a reckoning soon, and realize that, generally speaking, D2 is not much different from D1. I feel like everyone in my clan is in denial. I haven't even finished all of the adventures and side quests, haven't done the Nightfall...and I'm already starting to get bored. I chose to purchase it because I want to see where the story goes. But as far as fundamental changes from D1, there weren't many, contrary to what many people think.

Agreed. I don't think I'm buying it. Right now I'm playing my son's game. I feel this game is setting me up for disappointment.
