DONT MAKE A SECOND CHARACTER FOR SAME CLASS
Today I spent 10 hours grinding out my second character (Titan) so I could maybe get powerful engrams to help level up my main character (277 Titan). but when I finished the level 20 grind I was devastated to see that all the gear was capped at 270, my gear cap. I am so depressed that I spent so much time to only raise my light level one level. So I hope that when I do the exotic quests on the character that hopefully the exotics will be a higher level but otherwise if you're thinking of making a second character of the same class DONT you will regret it :(

2 RepliesThis is the Truth. My second Warlock only pulls ENGRAMS from BASE LEVEL. Even the LUMINOUS ones.

But if you put on the gear and capped at 270, if you waited til then to open up your Exotics and collect your luminous rewards, wouldnt those items be higher than 270? Or is that what you are saying, that even those were capped at 270?
