Any way to change character appearance?
I REALLY don't want to lvl up a new character just because hair color, it would be very nice to have any possibility to change faces, even if we are always in helmets. I need to have a nice look when I'm at the tower. Can I ask support to change my face? Or am I doomed to lvl up just because I want minor changes in my appearance?
Also, why character looks are so different In-game and in char creation? Created kinda nice warlock, but in game she looks awful.

it doesn't seem like too bad of an issue now, seeing as you can start at max level and then just transfer all your armor before you delete old character, only downside is losing SO much quest progress

I was just thinking about this the other day too. I transferred my Hunter from D1 and the skin color here is just...WAY too freaking dark compared to how it was in D1 and the lips are bright pink 😂😂 I just keep my helmet on so I don't have to see it

Why bungie hasnt already implemented this is beyond me, its like the first thing you think of when the word Microtransaction gets thrown around. Wow did this like 10 years ago. I have had the same character since vanilla D1, im not just going to delete him and start a new one for the looks. BUT! He is fugly at this point, I really would like some of those sweet awoken hairstyles on my human, or better yet, new hair styles! - and beard! Theres just so much they could do like: Change: the face - please! Sometimes it just looks great in char creation and ingame its like a nightmare. Change: hairstyle, color, Beard, tats, makeup, facepaint, scars etc etc etc. Add: new hair, beards, makeup etc. Add: ornaments that changes the color patterns of some armors so for instance you could display your clan logo on your cloak or something.

Since Forsaken there's now a Character Boost that'll level you up to lvl 30 and ready to play Forsaken! When you buy Forsaken you get 1 free but after that it's somewhere between $20-30!

1 ReplyLook, although there may not be a way to change your appearance of your classes, that I know of, this isn't Destiny 1 with a 24-hour long campaign. The campaign on the newest installment of the Destiny series is a very short, easy and fun so if you have completed, almost completed or barely started the campaign you can just delete your character and make a new one. If you have completed the campaign, it is a very fun and an enjoying experience as you know the events and the paths that should be taken and not taken. As a suggestion, if you have a problem with your avatar's hair color or hair, in general, you can just head to the settings tab and keep your headgear on at all times.

Yea this should be a thing, over time in Destiny 1 I hated my characters appearance since I made it when I was a twelvie. All my characters are exo male which is really boring and I didn’t know that’s your characters appearance would carry over to destiny 2. Is there anyway to get this message closer to bungie?

1 ReplyPlease Bungie, let us change our characters faces/hair/ colour. I'm Light 232 and don't feel like starting over. And I agree with a 10,000 or even 20,000 glimmer fee would be respectably acceptable to have the ability. That would be amazing for you guys to do and we deserve to have a second chance. I made mine in the first game and regret it, unbelievably much.

2 RepliesI agree that all players should be able to change their character's appearance only in the Travler'sTower for the max cost of 10,000 glimmer at anytime for any player wishes to do it. As for minor changes like one thing like hair or exo's head pieces cost of 250 or 1250 glimmer each time. Also pointing out that World Of Warcraft let's their players to change any of the character's appearances too. So as Bungie signed off to join with Blizzard as they should come together at least agree letting the community to let players to change any of the character's appearances in reguarding to pay Glimmer or Silver would be nice.

1 ReplyI would really like to see this as well. If we're going the micro transaction route anyway, why not make the first recustomization free, as another member mentioned, and then require a $10 payment for subsequent ones (exorbitant, yes, but Microsoft does this for username charges)?

i need this as well. i made a character and want dark red hair but i cant because i am Light 278. i dont want to scrap to make a hunter with different hair colour. i also have done the story 9 times already just to get the characters to look good not knowing when you start you can press options to see you character from the position you will be seeing him/her at. i didnt know this before. also that some of hair looks like crap from far away especially when there is no zoom out/in or turn feature in the character creation, one thing i hated about Destiny 1

We had our chance when destiny 2 was released unless you want a new hair colour for each week. Not a bad idea though.

Maybe they'll add it. Shit I hate to say it but this would be one thing I wouldn't mind seeing as a micro transaction. First character re customization should be free though. If you want to change your hair color every week ya gotta pay for that shit.
