Just an important note about the Glimmer Extraction for each extraction there appears to be 4-5 Vandals that appear first and then a Captain for each little extraction. You can kill the Vandals but the glimmer extraction machine must be destroyed before you take out the Captain. I do this every time with no problems. The Kell at the end will still show up and activate the heroic mode.
