Rat king damage bonus glitch
So my friend and I just got the rat king and we tried to test the damage bonus and when far apart we did the same amount of damage as close together with the perk activated. Is anyone else having the problem? Do we need more than two guardians, is the effect so minute that it doesn't effect with two people or is the perk glitched? Any feedback on the matter would be greatly appreciated

1 ReplyMe and a friend tried some experiments with the Rat King ourselves. We tried with both of us holding it in hand, 1 holding the other switched to energy weapon, one holding while the other doesn't have the Rat in their Kinetic slot, and all situations while the Rat was glowing and not glowing. We consistently did between 76-86 damage with body shots, around 223 for critical hits on standard enemies, and 110 for powerful enemies. Seems pretty disappointing if the weapon is functioning properly.

5 RepliesMine worked fine. With just it was around 140ish headshot to a cabal. 2 people 300ish 3 people 400ish. Haven't tested with more and can't till raid really

1 ReplyDont test on low rank EDZ, test vrs the highest lvl enemies you can. There is a damage cap from what ive seen for each level of enemies. (Similar issue in the first game)
