Crucible is Legit Hell for Solo Players..
Crucible almost forces you to queue up as a team and if you do not, you will most likely go against a 4 man clan, while your team is most likely a team of solo players and beating a GOOD 4 man team with ok communication, is almost impossible. They will mostly likely stay together, which forces the solo players into a 4v1 and 4v2 situations which are almost unwinnable. What makes it worse thats there is no game mode on crucible, that is 6v6 like destiny 1. Adding 6v6 will be really helpful for solo players because, you will not have to deal with a whole clan vs solo players 90% of the time, most of the time your go against groups of twos or groups of threes and your team will most likely not be a team full of solo players as well. Crucible is actually extremely fun if you play as a team, but if you play solo it can feel like hell.
Also why is there no option in these game to choose your game type, I miss being able to just play control and avoid the other game modes.

2 RepliesMost pvp matches I've been in solo have been against fireteams of 3 or 4, and now a lot of the people playing are just camping with mida, pvp just feels really campy and slow. Other than getting the powerful emgrams doesn't interest me at all.

If you want to be a lone wolf you must act like one. lead your team or be the one that draws attention for your team. I played a bunch solo today and it was awesome.

I always run solo and k d wise I do great. Just follow ur team and stay together.

So .. there is no matchmaking etc? Did wonder why it always felt unfair, but if you as a random solo player get matched against premades .. well, no wonder I don't enjoy it.

1 ReplyIt is pretty brutal for solo players like myself. I'm new to Destiny and was excited to try out the PVP. It's rough in these waters lol. I usually just follow my teammates and hope for a good outcome but still get destroyed haha.

Crucible being a complete waste of time sounds like a dream come true for some folks. More emphasis should be placed on the actual game, PvE.

A lot of times even in D1 I had to solo in crucible. I only got to play one crucible match this time around because of the queue times but we won. I just tend to naturally look for my teammates and try and support fire best i can. Watch for teammates dropping and cover the others to keep the combined fire up. Not as great as a communicating team but sufficient nonetheless.

I played it solo, and I thought it was fine. It's 10x better than the Destiny 1 pvp.

I've had no problems with it. Except for clash and some supremacy games, they almost never end by a team hitting the max score and always end at the time limit. Control hasn't been a problem as everyone fights for the points

Constantly getting team shot is annoying, Its nearly impossible to get away.

It's a little bit harder in Competitive, but Quick Play is pretty chill as far as I can tell. I've been mostly focusing on Story. I haven't played much Crucible unfortunately.

13 RepliesYep, no ones bothered dude, the games not made for solo play especially in crucible. Get some friends. Seriously, you are attempting to play the game in a way that was unintended, you have no right to complaint, it was made very clear before sale time.
