Crucible almost forces you to queue up as a team and if you do not, you will most likely go against a 4 man clan, while your team is most likely a team of solo players and beating a GOOD 4 man team with ok communication, is almost impossible. They will mostly likely stay together, which forces the solo players into a 4v1 and 4v2 situations which are almost unwinnable. What makes it worse thats there is no game mode on crucible, that is 6v6 like destiny 1. Adding 6v6 will be really helpful for solo players because, you will not have to deal with a whole clan vs solo players 90% of the time, most of the time your go against groups of twos or groups of threes and your team will most likely not be a team full of solo players as well. Crucible is actually extremely fun if you play as a team, but if you play solo it can feel like hell.
Also why is there no option in these game to choose your game type, I miss being able to just play control and avoid the other game modes.

Edited by NECRO_TYPE1: 9/10/2017 12:51:00 AMAgreed. There are so many things wrong with Crucible that I've reached my breaking point https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/230681494/0/0

It's pretty meh so far. I wish they'd keep Destiny as a PvE only game. Go play 1 of the hundreds of competitive games out there. There are seriously no good PvE shooters around.
-
I'm fine with matching full teams atm since I wanna get better at PvP, but I definitely agree it's AIDS for solo players. They actually downgraded to 4v4 and removed the option to pick what game type you wanna play, I hope it's just because of a server capacity thing early on and that they'll revert back to 6v6 and the option to choose a game type.
-
Yeah don't attempt to do it solo lol
-
I hope they can throw in a larger gamemode, at least 6v6 but I would love to see some 8v8 on big maps like halo BtB
-
Been saying this would happen since 4s was announced but the delusional fanbiys were forever disagreeing. Congrats

It's a good chance to learn a fundamental, Teamwork.

Edited by Airhawkeye: 9/10/2017 3:18:56 AMNot for me i was wrecking all the opposing fireteams with my merciless (that thing is amazing )

Too each there own because I solo quite a bit and I preferred 3v3 or doubles. In D2 I am doing just fine when I go solo and if it were 4v1 then maybe try to follow the other guys around, I know that can be a chore sometimes because you have a lot of Wannabe Rambo's... Also how would it be any different with 4v4 to 6v6? Your saying that just because there is 6v6 you have less teams to go against or more teams of 3 or 2? In 4v4 you have teams of 3 and 2 so not really a big difference, in my opinion anyways.

I started "quickplay" an hour ago. I'm now sitting at 2/8 guardians.

False.

I was solo yesterday and teamed up with some randoms in competitive. To my complete surprise we won both games. I teamed up with this guy, which we now always play crucible together, but we worked really well as a team. I thought I waa going to get whipped because I didn't have a team, but whoever the other 2 were thanks for a great match expecially the guy with the sword lol
-
I was smacking clans around solo on my level 4 warlock and I don't even main lock so
-
I've played both solo and in a fireteam and have noticed no difference. Your enemy is more of a threat in this game because teammates will be helping, so you have to be more careful

Hit or miss.

Dang pal, I was having a blast the other night solo. Even went into the competitive for that shaxx bounty and came up in a team of 4 solos vs a 4 man team. We went down 1-4 fast but we turned around, with no communication and won out. Take a chill pill and try not to take this PvP stuff too seriously.

I am have been doing crucible solo. Here's the results in a span of 5 matches: 10 kill streak Left none standing 10+ 5 kill streaks 10+ double downs A few triple downs. So far I love the crucible as a solo player

Edited by StPattyIce: 9/13/2017 2:44:04 PMAdmittedly I've only played 4 matches but not once have I run into this problem you are describing. All 4 of my matches were solo, and I had 4 wins. Edit: I have now run into a few teams, but even today I ran into a clan group of 4 while my team was all solo. We barely won, but it felt sweet even with the enemy team squading up tightly and using multiple lanes.

It has been going great for me. No complains here been having a ton of fun.
-
Yo maybe you and I can team up in the crucible?
-
Edited by Trollefix: 9/10/2017 12:12:17 AMI have only been playing solo and its been ok. It all depends on who you get teamed up with. If you get on a team that understands teamwork you will be fine without comunications. But then all of a sudden you get matched with ppl who scatter all over the map. Then u domed.

the crucible tends a very specific type of players and the treatment seems perfectly fitting from my point of view.
