Crucible almost forces you to queue up as a team and if you do not, you will most likely go against a 4 man clan, while your team is most likely a team of solo players and beating a GOOD 4 man team with ok communication, is almost impossible. They will mostly likely stay together, which forces the solo players into a 4v1 and 4v2 situations which are almost unwinnable. What makes it worse thats there is no game mode on crucible, that is 6v6 like destiny 1. Adding 6v6 will be really helpful for solo players because, you will not have to deal with a whole clan vs solo players 90% of the time, most of the time your go against groups of twos or groups of threes and your team will most likely not be a team full of solo players as well. Crucible is actually extremely fun if you play as a team, but if you play solo it can feel like hell.
Also why is there no option in these game to choose your game type, I miss being able to just play control and avoid the other game modes.

The team shot or go home game mode just isn't at all destiny crucible. Also the map sizes are postage stamps now. Why are AR's same range as scouts cause there isn't a scout range on any of these little arena maps. Man they shat all over crucible.

Edited by REESTAR: 9/10/2017 7:53:28 AMIt's a pain but it's a choice you make, I'll be playing solo but I could easily just join a group if it's grating my brain that much lol You can adjust your play style a little and run with the mob as if your in a team , or join the chat? just my two bobs worth .

My only issue apart from getting ganged up on when the team doesn't stay together, would be team members dropping out of the match, and no one jumping in to replace them. So then I'm left with a team of 2 vs a full team of 4 and we were already doing bad to begin with.

Edited by SpongyMallard7: 9/10/2017 7:04:51 PMI never had problems playing solo in any of the Iron Banners in Destiny 1, so I will give you this advice. Get Gud. I forgot how salty some Destiny fans are.

100% this. The pvp reminds me of for honor skirmish in the fact that it's so team fight oriented. And that doesn't mean it's bad. It's usually both teams running around the map looking for the other. A fight breaks out. One team wins and so on. And for me it's very hard to win a 1v2+. With the 6v6 in D1 it felt like there was so much more action and crazy fights going on across the whole map.

I fully agree at least for quickplay it's way to hard to even win as a solo player All day yesterday I was getting triple teamed by guardians who'd slide around corners one by one then bid look at my teams score only to see we are losing 27-1 in supremacy I'm sorry Bungie but clearly quickplay is where the sweats are

Maybe in the minority here but disagree, played 2 games so maybe early to comment but was so much more fun didn't get sniped every 10 seconds the super time is about right, people using primaries and as for solo he'll just run with the team or get some heavy and tear it up alone. Personally I find this so much more enjoyable than D1
-
Plus people keep leaving meaning that my team is going to lose. Just sucks honestly.
-
It is honestly the worst.
-
It's a legit pile a steaming shit. It sucks so bad. I will only play it for powerful engrams. Only thing it's worth
-
It is shit
-
100% what i think of it. Also allt of time it is very unblanced. All high lvl's vs low lvl's and power.

Edited by CHRISPOCALYP5E: 9/10/2017 5:48:41 AMYeah it is. Plus I played it early and was on a team with a group of, well at least what I presumed were experienced players being level 20 and all but I was wrong. When your team is below you on the scoreboard even when they're in a fire team it gets you thinking. As I grow older I've become more and more sick of PVP modes in games. Unless there is a quest I need to do relating to it, unlock special items or having fun with friends if they force me to play it, I usually prefer to avoid PVP. Plus it gets boring after a while too.

I just wish I had the option to pick which mode I want to play. I don't like being forced into playing modes I don't care for.
-
Yea crucible has lost its fun factor honestly
-
Yeah, it's not as fun as Destiny 1 Crucible sadly.
-
Strategic tip: Follow at least 1 other team member...
-
They need the 1 v all mode back
-
Not true. I've played as a one man squad and most of the time finished 1st or 2nd in my team.
-
Frankly I just do my quests for it and clan reward and no longer enjoy it for fun. Many other better PvP games out there. PvP in Destiny 2 is an afterthought at best. It's pretty sad. I doubt Bungie will do anything about it anytime soon either. Trials is all that's left and even then there is all the hackers since the IP's for everyone are still easily gotten so lag switching will be around.
-
You can play solo or premade but you definitely need to work within your team either way.
-
Two things: Stay close to your randos, and don't push. Running into the enemy firing squads is pointless and demoralizing. Stay out of sight, keep your eyes peeled for Guardians who are splitting off or falling behind, and then rip their balls out with your teeth. Bait and eliminate and don't be afraid of the L.
-
Eh, I don't really see it. I play with both a group of half-decent players, and on my own. (Not saying that i'm good or anything, i am not.) I win most of the games I play, solo or in a 4-man party. I don't see the issue. Note- Try the Tone Patrol Scout rifle, it is amazing for PvP as well as PvE, with my roll anyway. It has dragonfly, which is like firefly but with dragons. It's a great scout, 48 to the head, with 160 RPM and 15 in a mag, it is deadly.
-
Yep, I won't play until my clan buys the game, or until Bungie fixes things.
-
d1 you could out gun multiple opponents. d2 you must out team shoot

Edited by NECRO_TYPE1: 9/10/2017 12:51:00 AMAgreed. There are so many things wrong with Crucible that I've reached my breaking point https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/230681494/0/0
