Crucible is Legit Hell for Solo Players..

Crucible almost forces you to queue up as a team and if you do not, you will most likely go against a 4 man clan, while your team is most likely a team of solo players and beating a GOOD 4 man team with ok communication, is almost impossible. They will mostly likely stay together, which forces the solo players into a 4v1 and 4v2 situations which are almost unwinnable. What makes it worse thats there is no game mode on crucible, that is 6v6 like destiny 1. Adding 6v6 will be really helpful for solo players because, you will not have to deal with a whole clan vs solo players 90% of the time, most of the time your go against groups of twos or groups of threes and your team will most likely not be a team full of solo players as well. Crucible is actually extremely fun if you play as a team, but if you play solo it can feel like hell. Also why is there no option in these game to choose your game type, I miss being able to just play control and avoid the other game modes.

  • Yep, no ones bothered dude, the games not made for solo play especially in crucible. Get some friends. Seriously, you are attempting to play the game in a way that was unintended, you have no right to complaint, it was made very clear before sale time.

    • I agree to a certain point; I have queued in solo and won with a pos KDR but I rather have 6v6 and leave the "competitive" to trials!

    • Its dogshit and unfun. Cryhards get mad all you want, its just how it is. Obviously if you're with 3 friends communicating its fun because you're winning. Its not an enjoyable game mode at all.

    • Stick with other players. At the very least you'll have an extra gun shooting bullets at the enemy with you. Come on, a team of co-ordinated friends who knows each other's playstyles vs a bunch of solo players? I wouldn't expect to win, much less put up a fight, especially with the new teamshot style D2 has.

    • Not that bad. Just stick with your team and don't go Rambo. It's just like any other fps

    • I personally haven't had a problem getting kills and being top of the leaderboard, but my problem is people quiting and it not adding new players to the game, or me doing fantastic but the other team still wins because my team isn't coordinated or working together, it feel a like there is almost no skill match making, when it's a full fire team vs another full fire team the game is intense and fun but when it's 4 solo players of all different skill gaps vs a full fire team talking and communicating it makes things less enjoyable. You can still do good as a solo player but that dosnt mean you will win the round iv had 32 kills in one game but my team still lost which is a bummer. If you have a Mic tho don't be afraid to pop in game chat, it alerts you're team when you do and it's a good way to fire team up with some randoms and it helped me a lot

    • Have only played solo and I can't complain. Just don't engage when people are in a group, or at the very least flank or don't appear on the radar.

Only when ur team is filled with D2 players rather than D1 players. You can tell who they are based on how your team does when there are not fireteams in the match.

    • The issue is that we have a lot of health and we play on small maps - making it difficult to get a kill without team-shotting. Say goodbye to the days of flanking and being good enough to carry your lower-skilled teammates. If you get the worst person in the lobby on you team (or if just one person leaves), you'll most likely lose, despite your skill level.

I havnt had this issue, however I carry pretty hard most of the time on kills and just let the kill fodder on my team snatch the control points while I back them up. Otherwise, we lose map control quickly and it just goes all to shit after that. Once all 3 points are captured it seems like the maps are so small that you can bounce around and guard them as a team too quickly for people falling behind to get back into the game and regain spawn control.

      • Ever thought about just following your other team mates? I do that playing by myself and have had success.

      • Nah, it's all about perception. I've said this in other posts... If winning, KD, etc are important to you... Get a fireteam. Simple. Otherwise, have fun. I've run solo for the better part of 3 years playing this game and this has always been a forum issue. The answer is always the same. PvP and a portion of PvE are not designed for solo players. That's the bottom line. Deal. Or go play something else. Bungie already sold millions of copies, they won't miss you.

      • I'm not gonna deny going against a full stack is super hard in this Crucible. However, if for you a 4-stack means you're gonna get 4v1'd the whole game that's on you for not adapting to how the game is now. PvP in this game is very reliant on teamplay, and if your team runs around lone-wolfing while the other team covers each other you're going to lose regardless of whether they're queued together. If you make an effort to stay around your team you should almost never end up alone against four people at once. If you make that effort, your team makes that effort, and you still get separated and stomped, it was probably half communication and half skill difference that won it for them. And there's not much Bungie can do about that beyond ruin the Crucible for friends who want to play together casually.
