Anyone else having trouble getting their character to show up in the app? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, even restarting my phone and I can't get my character to appear on the gear or progress tabs. Still says I don't have any D2 characters on PSN. I'm through the campaign and everything.

Update, app is showing my characters and gear now. Only thing I did was enter a couple of XP boost codes, so maybe that triggered my account to update to the new platform.

2 RepliesHave the same issue, I was on destiny 1 on 360 and only u just moved to the one. Have tried unlinking my account etc and nothing works. Bungie it seems don't care, as it's not a small issue with one or two people.

I have the same problem. I played D1 on PS3 and stopped playing when Rise of Iron, and then moved to D2 and PS4. My characters in game are the same ones I had on PS3. But the app/website doesn't show them, only my clan. I tried to use the Destiny Item Manager and when logged in it says that my account still is in legacy console. The only requirement to the migration import to Destiny 2 was that the character must have been at level 20 and beat The Black Garden mission before August 1st, so legacy console accounts that met the requirement were imported to D2. So the characters should appear in the app and in the website.

6 RepliesBump and update: I'm getting an error on the app occasionally where it says I'm on a legacy platform. Seems like maybe my account didn't migrate because I played D1 on PS3? Not sure

Mines having the same issue. Signed into the app with my Xbox account and it shows I dont have any Battle.net accounts on Destiny 2. Like I didn't sign in with my Battle.net account wtf.

1 ReplyI figured it out. If you are playing on Console (and linked with Bnet) sign into the app with your console info. Then, in the app, open the menu one the upper left hand side. You should see your name along with notifications messages etc. Next to your name is an Icon (for some it is the blizzard icon, even though they are on PSN or XBL). Tap the icon and it gives you an option to swap between Bnet and PSN and XBL. Once the appropriate account is selected, swipe left and continue to use the gear manager as normal.

there is a D1 version and a D2 version make sure your in the D2 version

1 ReplyDid you happen to sign in with your BNET account at any point? I had this issue as well until I noticed that it was reading my BNET profile.

If anyone still is having this problem sign out of the app, clear cache, sign in. If it doesn't work still unlink battlenet if you have it linked, if not idk

Companion app seems very basic and dumbed down compared to D1. Can't even get your crucible kd, etc. Shame as loved the geekyness of the first Destiny.

Same but I saw a youtuber using the app

same issue, looking forward to the fix.
