How do I get absolutely melted? I literally die in what feels like less than 3 seconds. This is done by lower levels as well. I don't get it. How are they getting such good weapons that melt me and how do I go about getting better weapons for pvp?

dont worry. i get ABSOLUTELY GANGBANGED. fucht out of every. single. solitary bulle that attempts to leave the barrel of my gun. Be glad i dont post this shit.... YOUD BE ABSOLUTELY APPALLLLLLLED by the shit this game pulls out of its ass. Im ready to put it down.

Origin story auto rifle op plus pvp seems abit broken right now

Team shot. Plays much more like halo than destiny 1. And most of everyone can agree bungie had pvp down in halo. Especially the competitive side of pvp.

Edited by SweetZombieJesus: 9/9/2017 4:26:15 PMMost likely you're being melted by a team shot and your level doesn't matter for damage. The weapons are NOT designed (perk wise) like they were in D1. I've had some pretty stacked blue gear... Stay with your team. Unless you're really, really, good... There's no more bull rush heroes anymore. That's a good thing.

You can still run solo, just always keep your teammates in sight. 4 vs 3 allows you to flank.

3 seconds is a long time, most of my weapons will do it in a second to a second and a half. Gotta hit those headshots.
-
Its team shots thats killing you. How many times are you engaging with enemy but then someone else finishes you off from out of nowhere. Solo players are screwed. 4v4 is cancer for solos.
-
It's all about team shot. Follow your team mates and engage together. If all 4 do this you can't lose.
-
First people complain about slow time to kill, then they complain about fast time to kill... People in this community just need to decide what they really want.
-
Based on you're weapons I would suggest trying to switch things up a bit. Scouts seem to be a bit underpowered, or at least all the ones I've found so far. Personally, I've been having good luck with autos.

Your opponent might be hitting more crits than you.

you are suffering from the same condition as me in pvp Crappyitus

You are getting teamshotted.

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 9/8/2017 4:41:51 PMStay with your team, and if you end up in a 1v1 situation, be prepared with a good weapon. I've been using a fast-firing pulse rifle, and a 3-shot-burst sidearm. Also, don't bother with using the SMGs. They shred in PvE, but in Crucible, they're garbage.

Less than 3 seconds? I kill people in 1 second at most. With basic weapons.

To begin with, level means nothing in normal Crucible. There are a lot of seasoned Crucible players out there. This new Crucible is not Solo friendly, but if you are careful, and stay with your team, you can still do alright.

Edited by TheOtherGuy: 9/8/2017 8:00:39 AMWhen it feels like around 3 seconds its not fast. D1 have weapons with less than 1 second time to kill. Power level doesnt mean anything in crucible except for iron banner and trials. You are doing something very wrong. Just stick with pve.

Yea, I'm finding that it's now a race to get better gear, which is related to your level. This often makes higher level players able to take you down more easily (tactics aside).
