This would probably be my biggest issue once I get the game; that or the severely lowered difficulty.
What was so wrong with earning a shader and then being able to use it on any piece of gear you see fit? The only change that was needed was the ability to recolour individual pieces and that was it. Bungie gave with one hand and took away with another.
I see peope saying that it doesn't matter because you can get shaders to drop fairly frequently and I can see the reasoning in that.
However what happens when people start earning the rarer shaders in the game? The Raid and the Trials shaders immediately come to mind. I don't know about you but I don't fancy the prospect of having to do a raid every time I want to swap shaders or having to go flawless again if I find a better piece of legendary gear.

The difficulty wasn't lowered. This game is harder than D1. Just try that 240 Nightfall. Even at 260 you'll struggle to complete it. Took my team like an hour and a half to beat the Rat King step in there. That's on easy mode Nightfall. Enemies are tankier and feel more aggressive. Difficulty definitely wasn't lowered.

So you only run the raid once?
