Dear Bungie,
Similar to Destiny, the aim-assist in Destiny 2 is quite strong and noticeable. I personally find it at times, such as during PvP, to be very annoying and unhelpful. If you are aiming at one opponent and then another enemy runs across your line of sight, your crosshair tracks the person that ran across. This makes tracking and shooting one enemy quite difficult. I was curious to know if Bungie plans to add a setting that allows players to turn off aim-assist? Blizzard did just this in Overwatch, where you can adjust the level of aim-assist or you can turn it off entirely. I feel adding this option would make gameplay more rewarding and would help to eliminate unwanted tracking of enemies.

Is there a way to adjust it? I've noticed the tracking issue too during boss fights if I'm aiming at the boss and a ad runs by, it will track the ad instead. #ugh

Edited by Orbital Drop Shock Trooper: 9/9/2017 11:03:19 AMAll you lot complaining about Aim-Assist on console gaming need to go on PC and play CS:GO on a controller with AA turned off. You'll understand. PC CS:GO on controller was an experience where I met haters on both sides and was still able to do very well in based on slower movement speed. However had the movement speed increased to Destiny / Halo levels. You guys will understand how you had such poor experience in making the judgement that it needs to be removed. I'm just thinking of people like OP when they will face a blinking warlock with mida's and a MLG strafe. PAHAHAHAAH this dude will then go, REMOVE BLINK. These low quality dudes, man.

When i played the pc beta with a controller, it was so strong that it felt like i had an aimbot, i didnt need to correct my aim all that much because the AA did it for me. I hope they disable it for pvp on pc otherwise it would be hard to detect who actually has an aimbot vs who has a controller.
