[BUNGIE] PlayStation Error CE-34878-0
Hello,
We are aware of reports that some PlayStation 4 players encountering crashes when attempting to play Destiny 2. This results in [url=https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/get-help/help-library/error-codes/ce-34878-0/]PlayStation Error CE-34787-0[/url]. We are currently investigating with platform partners to identify the cause for this issue.
[b]NOTE: [/b]Some players have reported that turning off HDCP settings on their PS4/PS4Pro Console has reduced the frequency in which this issue occurs.

Sono veramente molto incazzato e insoddisfatto mi recherò all'associazione dei consumatori per sporgere reclamo e chiedere a voi dalle vostre tasche 70 euro! Siete degli incompetenti perché conoscevate questo problema dalla beta e non avete fatto nulla, io ci scommetto cosa voglio non si troverà mai una soluzione perché o voi o Sony siete dei bugiardi che vendono cose non finite o gia rotte! Per fortuna questa è la volta buona che ve ne andate affanculo tanto piano piano il vostro giochino di merda romperà tutte le Console e a forza di rimborsi addio bungie! Una risposta anche un diretto "vaffanculo i soldi gli abbiamo presi" sarebbe gradito così da sapere che farne del disco e se ogni giorno devo venire qua appunto a insultare la vostra ignoranza Un saluto merde!

2 Repliesi had ps4pro and crashes all the time, you can look in this forum how many times i started a topic or commented since release, untill yesterday i wasn't even able to pass the tutorial. I kinda lost my patience, and sent my pro yesterday to service, luckily a friend of mine borrowed me also yesterday his normal ps4 untill my pro comes back, and after maintenance i was able to play without any crashes, and believe it or not i could even pass the tutorial :D and do some missions in EDZ, any crashes. I suggest you guys to do the same, i seems that some of those day one ps4pros are kinda faulty. and if you have the normal ps4 with the same crashes i suggest to sent it to service too. Anyways i wish you guys the best of luck to get the damn thing to run and hope we will see eachother soon in the game. Greets

So tried again after today's update and got to play for a good 10 min then the dreaded CE-34878-0 error appears tried the game twice and still crashed given me the error on my PS4 only the den coins time it locked my system up and my PS4 had to do a memory Check. Clearly theirs a huge bug with your game and if it breaks my -blam!-ing council I'm not going to be one happy customer

2 RepliesOn the PS4 pro (stock hardware, no modifications) Played the game for roughly 10-15 hours in total maybe since release. Reached level 20/201 light. Had about 15 crashes so far, all completely random - some during campaign missions, some during just walking around in the world, most during adventure missions. Never crashed in social spaces or Lost sectors. First of the crashes occured during my first adventure mission in the EDZ, and kept happening in the same mission 2-3 times until I switched off HDCP, after which it stopped. Then further into the campaign in mission 7-10 I kept freezing attempting a story mission, after which I dropped the resolution to 1080p, which allowed me to get another 4 hours of gameplay. I stopped doing adventure missions or public encounters so as to not freeze. Now at the final campaign mission and not able to get through without freezing within 5 mins of starting the mission. Tried a full initialisation and rebuilding database after re-installing the game (digital download). No luck. Nothing more for me to try, except wait for a fix. Have opened a service request with Sony incase its a hardware issue, since I heard its a long process for service/replacement with Sony.

Three crashes in about 10'min. Great job thanks for being upfront with all of us I'm really glad I bought your game and spent the money for sonys premium console too. Man screw you guys

12 RepliesSoooo I may have fixed it for me. I have not done any extended testing but I managed to get past the places that always gave me errors or froze the system before. 1. I port forwarded the ports destiny uses, I followed Bungies guide, and I disabled UPnP. I have a Technicolor modem in bridge mode and Asus RT-AC68U router. 2. Turned off boost mode 3. Turned off HDCP Worked in both 1080p and 4k. I think the thing that solved it for me was step 1. I have tried step 2 and 3 before without result. But I haven't done enough testing. It could just be that there is less people around in the world's or I just got lucky. Will post my findings tonight.
