Hey How about a fix
-
Edited by Rein: 9/7/2017 4:28:47 PMI haven't encountered this problem on my PS4 Pro yet, but I also don't know if I have HDCP enabled or not. I'll have to look into this when I get home. For anyone who is, please remember to try Sony's solution methods for this error. Bungie linked it. Seeing people just saying Bungie's Note fix isn't working. I understand Sony's method is pretty inconvenient. Looks pretty time consuming, since it involves doing a backup and reset to factory default on the console. I reckon that doing the process takes about 1.5-2 hours. Good luck, Guardians. Edit: I've had a Guardian report a roughly 4 hour time-line for the Sony fix. It has been 3 hours and everytime I log into game disconnects with different code not a same one and then says servers not available PS4 , region middleeast
-
I am experiencing the same issue, and have since beta. None of the suggested fixes make any difference.
-
Turning off HDCP doesn't change anything...
-
That fix doesn't help. I had hdcp off and boost mode off and it's still crashing every 10 minutes.

Edited by ZarxIV: 9/7/2017 4:05:44 PMCopy and pasta your last response! Wow Bungie, you guys are working like a bawz. Outside the joke, do you have a time window for the fix? Couple of days? One Week? A Month?...I'm asking because I gave you my money one month in advance. A time window would be very welcome. p.S HDCP off and Boost Mode Off doesn't work
-
NOTE: Turning off HDCP setting didn't work. Can we get an estimated timeframe on a potential fix/update? Or maybe details on how to request a refund from the Playstation Store during the interim? My Destiny 2 Playstation experience has me questioning my choices as a consumer.
-
Just so you know... Turning it off didn't work. Keep at it, but this really should've been fixed after it was reported during beta.
-
Dear Bungie Pre-ordered Destiny 2. I've been waiting patiently for 2 days now. Still no access to any gameplay. I have 16 hour days and my gaming time is limited. please fix...
-
Edited by XDEATHxRECONX: 9/7/2017 4:09:43 PMSo almost 2 days later and all you have is a copy paste of you're last response to this? Fantastic, thanks for the update... technically you've had since July, when you were first made aware of this issue in the beta and said you were "investigating". Care to explain? Of course you won't.

Edited by didsburydan: 9/7/2017 3:59:58 PMturning off hdcp or boost mode or both does NOT work. please hurry up and fix this. my friends are all busy levelling up and i can't play more than 10 minutes without having to reboot. it has completely ruined the experience for me and any excitement I had for playing is now gone.
-
None of PlayStations advice worked for me... HDCP off, boost mode off, 1080p or 4k both didnt work ... reinstalled firmware 4.73 update off USB and reinitialised ps4 didn't work... downloaded update for destiny numerous times ..... only game that doesn't work on my pro, leads me to one conclusion that its this game that's causing the problem.

Edited by WhoWantSomeLove: 9/7/2017 4:24:02 PMDidn't work for me either. I will say the longest playtime i got (about 20 mins) occurred by rebuilding the database, turning off hdcp and boost and removing external hdd (like physically unplugging it). But that only moderately prolonged play time before the inevitable crash and error 34787. Also, I played the entire beta including crucible with not a single crash on the same ps4 pro with all of the above settings turned on. Other things worth mentioning is that I have never crashed unless it was a public area where other players were on the screen. EDZ for example. however others report crashes from the menu. My setup is: PS4 Pro day one edition 4K Samsung KS8000 All PS video options set to Automatic or recommended Boost and HDCP on and off Physically purchased game installed on factory internal drive External HDD connected and not connected Its extremely frustrating that some original and some destiny white bundle pros are doing it? Unlikely its a hardware problem with the PS4. But if it is, Im under warranty for 2 more mmonths so I would really like to know. Just seems highly unlikely. I wish more people with Pros that arent having problems would post their set ups. Oh and as others have said, this is the only game i getting the crash. Recently have played Uncharted Lost and Agents of mayhem and FF15 with HDR where available and none of those have crashed on this system. Also, I dont recall ever crashing in Horizon so ....
-
Bungie, are you kidding us? The problem is known since the beta. HDCP/Boost Mode off does not work or what else at the moment.
-
I would hope that Bungie will step up and make amends for this somehow (small token of your appreciation of our patience). There are a whole lot of people like me out there who took time off work to play the game and now we are just sitting here with no real information on what is happening or when a resolution will be available. Communication goes a long way in easing peoples frustrations.

I like the choice of words here 'has reduced the frequency in which this issue occurs'. Great, it still happens though.
-
It does not fix the issue the game still crashes everyone few minute, making it imopssible to play
-
Please fix that issue :(
