Hello,
When I first booted up Destiny 2, I was confused as to why I could not create any characters or customize the ones that were already populated. Little did I know that those were my imported characters from the original Destiny. I had to delete them in order to change up the hairstyle and to look at the new customization options. While looking at my stats later in the achievements section on Xbox, I noticed that there is a stat called 'character age'. I had a big fat 0 while all of my friends have 2's. I had no idea there was an age stat built into the new game or I would have never deleted my populated characters. There was zero communication or direction in regards to this. I have played Destiny since day 1 and would like my stats to be reflective of that. Is there anything we can do about this?
Thank you.

1 ReplyI love Destiny but let’s all be realistic here - Bungie has NEVER been good with stat tracking of any kind in this series. Triumphs don’t unlock when they should, if at all, and the stats for bounties and career milestones is abysmal. I’ve just had to learn to suck it up and not be bothered by these bugs. I’ve had all my characters since D1 day 1 and my age is stuck at 3 whereas several friends who’ve remade countless characters have an age of 4.

Bungie will not restore deleted character progress. Also, this was heavily hinted at for quite a long time before release. Sorry, but you're SOL.

Did the same thing on the PS4. It's very disappointing, however I can't find anywhere on the PS4 where it lists the 'character age'. Where would I look this up on the PS4?

Bungie mentioned character "date created" stat at the same time they mentioned you couldn't edit legacy characters(which sucks ass I think... and needs to be updated).

10 RepliesEdited by Blump: 9/7/2017 12:21:58 PMAs mentioned in the Legacy Support Guide that has been referenced in several TWaB articles, there were four data points imported for your characters from D1.
⋙What data is being imported into Destiny 2 with the Charcter and Account Migration? The Account and Character Migration process will only import the following Character data into Destiny 2: Character class, race, and gender selections Character face, hair, and marking selections Character creation date An assortment of Destiny accomplishments
https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/45967
