Can't connect to destiny 2 server?

For some reason I can't login two destiny 2. I have been play for a while and now when I try to log in it says I have lost permission to play online multiplayer or I'm loggeed in else where. I have playstion plus and internet connection. What gives?

  • This has to be Destiny 2 servers cause I have the Destiny 1 CD and I can't play it either someone from Bungie please read this and find the problem

  • I have the same problem ... will try restarting everything, restoring licences and everything that I've read here ... but WTF is this - this is a PSN issue, not Bungie issue, I guess ...

  • So I was having this problem for a little bit, and as weird as it sounds. I think it turned out to be from me clicking the mouse rather than actually hitting enter on the very first screen before you connect to the servers.

      Still not working haven't been able to even play the game once seriously needs to be fixed I've even tried moving it to a different room same results

    • Hi there, I ran into this issue. I was able to fix it through trial and error, however i know not exactly what the issue was, but here are the steps I took: 1. Log out of mobile app version (this is the reason for the small red x or mobile icon some players are seeing by their avatars. 2. Restart ps4 (Log in failed) 3. Change online status to offline/online, then restart ps4. (Failed) 4. Change offline status to online, disconnect / reconnect internet via network settings, not by unplugging ethernet (Success, in orbit) Hope this helps!

      • Hi I had the same problem and tried everything, log out, log in, restart router and nothing worked. But I did get in when I Restore Licences on my PS4. 1. Go to settings, PlayStation Network/Account Management. 2. Restore Licences.. 3. Then hit Restore. Hope this helps cos it worked for me.

          • Same problem here, the game goes through character selection , then stops and fails. With a ' Permision to access gameplay may have changed ' message...... meeeeeeeehhhh

            • Question for everyone experiencing this: does it have a red "x" next to your Playstation avatar right now? Me and my friend have been experiencing this issue with Destiny 2 all night and we both have this same red "x". Supposedly it means that you're appearing offline, but neither of us can change our online status either :/
