1 ReplyI heard one theory going around that they are the Architects. Rather than it being some dumb joke in the game, they're a real race of the darkness that aided all the others

2 RepliesIt's from the pre Vanilla Destiny concept. Luke Smith stated that they would go into the Darkness once they explained the light, with D2. I know we were supposed to have another enemy in Destiny, that we never seen. I really think this is going to be a TTK size expansion later down the road, like Fall next year, that introduces the Darkness as an enemy race that we have to combat. You'll notice that the ships aren't activated until the Traveler's light touches them. I'm already excited.

[spoiler]It's worth noting that in the intro, when the Speaker says that the Traveller was attacked by an ancient evil, a triangular shadow passes over the Traveller. Perhaps these Pyramid shaped ships represent the arrival of the [b]Real Darkness[/b] in the Destiny Universe. [/spoiler]

I thought it might be the vex but maybe we might be getting a new enemy who knows what we are getting. I was still laughing my ass off on how gary bit the dust when I was that but it certainly court me off guard with that
