Bungie Help Server information needed to fix UAE DU connection issues

Bungie Help this is regarding an issue we are facing in the United Arab Emirates with one of our ISP's DU making the game un-playable. Thousands of us are affected, and we have manged to get through to their technical team and the below information is what they need to trouble shoot the issue. Can you please help? [b]Server Location Server Public IP Address Then we need to trace route from source to destination over public IP from destination, then reverse trace route from destination to source. They also need a ping from source to destination public IP address. [/b]

  • Hi! Been awhile, anybody on here still playing? If so, encountering issues again with du? Noticed for the past few weeks where i get error codes like moose and lettuce frequently. Mostly when in-game and you change areas/instances, ads again ignoring or not seeing you then after a minute you get booted to orbit with those error codes. Called up du and had them do hard reset etc., still no luck :/ just wanted to check if anybody is in the same boat as me or am i the only having this issue :(

    • I can confirm its fixed.... spent more than 2 hours in destiny 2 without rebooting my xbox and no problem yet. Thanks to everyone

      • I've been on the phone with DU for the last hour trying to fix this and without Bungie's input it just isn't possible. I've given them all the port forwarding info but without IP address details nothing can be solved.       • No offence, but DU could get the information they require by simply monitoring your connection while you play. Additionally they can get it from your router's logs and traffic monitoring system, especially if it is their router.

        • There was a similar issue for Overwatch's open beta. You couldn't join a single match during that time. From what I read some ports were blocked by Du that OW needed. The issue was solved by a joint test between Du and Blizzard and they were able to open the needed ports. Hope the Bungie becomes aware of this and coordinates with Du to resolve this issue.             Im not there chaps, my brother is, and unfortunately a DU customer also... Has anyone tried taking your wireless DU connection into a laptop, running a VPN then connecting your PS4 to the laptop via Ethernet and bridging the connection? Just a thought... Or doing the same on your mobile, run a VPN and make a Mobile Hotpost... Anyway, hope the main issue is fixed shorty, seemingly Overwatch had the same issues with DU on launch, maybe worth looking back at the history of that resolution or any hot fixes.

            • Any news? Bungie this is a complete joke. The money people have paid to play this on opening day and they can't because of an issue that is probably an easy fix on your end is not on. The fact that you won't even respond with some form of information is shocking. Please sort this ASAP.

              • This is ridiculous. My family have bought 1 digital and 3 physical copies of Destiny 2 and we cannot even play because DU ISP in UAE has blocked Destiny 2's ports by mistake. And Bungie is not trying to resolve this with them. There is another ISP in UAE called Etisalat and they have no issues. Bungie, please respond to this and please get in contact with DU Internet Service Provided in the United Arab Emirates. The issues we are all encountering are as follows: - Enemies don't spawn/appear 90% of the time - If enemies do spawn, then teleport and don't engage. If we kill them, they instantly come alive again and return to original position - Quest givers and NPCs do not spawn or appear either - We cannot see adventures and cannot interact with items - We cannot see any public events, however, we can revive people who die. - We are invincible (enemies can't see us either) - Only PvP works, as no NPCs or enemy AI are present - We can't pass through certain areas as they are sealed off (but not to others in fireteam who aren't with DU ISP) such as the doors on Titan planets first mission. PLEASE BUNGIE, contact DU ISP and resolve this. DU need your server details and the ports to open to let those in the UAE play your game...we did pay for it after all.
