Destiny 2. Can't dismantle.
Not letting me dismantle any weapons or armor. Anyone help out?

11 RepliesHey folks, Bungie is currently investigating this issue. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/230511020/0/0/1 Note: Some players have stated that moving their right thumbstick during the attempted dismantle will sometimes help to work around this issue.

Same here I can dismantle weapons but gear helmet and boots nothing come on now fix the problem can't play if I can't get my gear

Lock and unlock it hold the right stick in as you dismantle the weapon or for any other thing like sharers weapon upgrades I just figured it out this morning I'm so excited.

You need to lock then unlock your gear or cosmetic you are trying to dismantle, after you unlock it quickly dismantle it. With exotics it's impossible to do since you have a rough 3 second window to dismantle.

1 ReplyFound a solution! If you pull the right thumb stick up out of it's socket so it lifts out a little you can dismantle

I'm not able to dismantle either. One min it works, the next it doesn't. I have to put gear and weapons in the vault just to pick up stuff from the post. Fix in a hurry please.

7 RepliesIts your controller. My friend had the same issue. If you move or press any button while trying or before trying to dismantle it cancels the dismantle. Find the sweet spot of whatever stick or button is broken and start dismantling.

My analog stick is broken it will keep trying to go up with only a few moments it stops. So dismantling items is almost impossible for me I'd buy a new controller right now to fix this but I'm broke right now. The whole thing is frustrating .
