I have tried and failed to Google around for this issue, and literally every single friend I know who has the app on iOS is either still experiencing this issue, or found a workaround that didn't work for me. Essentially, the red, notification "badge app icon" always appears over the Companion app, whether or not I have any real notifications. It shows "1" in the badge by default, and if I get any real notifications, those are added to that number. So if I get a real notification, the badge will show "2" instead of "1". I have tried all of the following to get the badge to go away: - Reinstalled the app - Cleared the cache - Scrolled to the top of every single group message thread (this is how at least one friend fixed it) - Removed all personal message threads (hello messages from 2005!) - Disabled push notifications for every feature within the app - Scrolled through all notifications - Visited and refreshed every possible clan page - Scrolled through entire clan chat The only way I can currently get rid of that dumb red badge is to disable it at a system level, meaning I will not see icon badges for any notifications in the future. This is less than ideal since I'm fairly active in the Bungie community. Anyone else found a workaround for this, or is experiencing this issue? It can't just be me and my friends! UPDATE: Solved it by logging out then back into my MS account!
